We have just had a 3 night stay at the Plaza Boutique hotel in Krakow. The room itself was fine, comfortable and clean although the plug in the bath didn’t fit and so wouldn’t hold the water. The breakfast was ok, pretty good choice and plenty of it. More fruit options would have been nice though. There was none on the first day (and we were first there at 7am) yet on the final day there was much more choice. Strange. As other posters have said, it’s a good 30 minute walk to the old town but much closer to the Jewish Quarter which we actually preferred. What really let the hotel down in our experience was the front of house staff. They didn’t really engage with us at all, often not even looking up from their phones/screens when we came down for breakfast or saying hello/goodbye when we came and went. Rarely even a smile. This did not apply to the waiting staff at breakfast who were friendly and helpful. Would we return to this hotel. No.

Lovely modern boutique hotel. Rooms clean tidy & modern also very spacious.Bed was comfortable. We had a balcony which you could sit out & overlook the small square. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. Staff were polite & friendly. Hotel is situated half an hour's walk to the Old town & a short walk to the river we enjoyed the walk to the Old Town to get a feel of the City also it was a nice walk along the river which you could get to Wawel Castle.Plenty of restaurants within walking distance of hotel. If you don't like walking you can catch a tram outside the hotel which was cheap. Would definitely stay again in Plaza Boutique

Clean, friendly staff, location is in Ghetto area so 10 mins walk to Jewish Qtr and 30 mins walk to the Old Town. We mostly walked in the morning through Jewish Qtr then up to the Old Town. Late night Uber back to the hotel was around £4. Would highly recommend. Breakfast was also very good

Lovely hotel a few minutes from the Jewish Quarter and about 30 minutes walk from the old historic centre. Stayed for 3 nights in mid-January 2024. Rooms quiet and spacious. Staff very helpful too. Decent breakfast, but there's places in the Jewish quarter for half the price! Would recommend.

The Hotel was a great base to allow you to jump on the tram and travel around or walk, if your up for the exercise 😀 The room was clean and tidy, breakfast was also good to get you going each morning for a long day sight seeing. Reception was always happy to help and give advise or even book tours to the Salt Mine if needed!

Nice place but far from main square Jet 2 telling porkys again, nice staff breakfast was ok , no one cleaned the room in 4 days or changed towels so that's a thumbs down, but overall you get what you pay for so wasn't too shabby ..not sure I'd stay here again just because of the distance from main centre

I stayed at this hotel from 18th - 22nd December with my daughter as a belated 21st trip, booking via Jet2 holidays. It was my first experience of a "boutique" hotel and we were very impressed! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and although the room was a double, the beds were actually two singles together which was perfect. There was a comfortable armchair and a small table with 2 chairs in the corner. A mine bar could be used as a fridge and there was a kettle with a small number of coffee and tea sachets provided. The room had a complimentary safe. The bathroom had a lovely, powerful shower, with good quality shower gel / shampoo. Room cleaning and towel change is only done on request which seems sensible for a short stay. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and eggs or pancakes were made to order. The bar / restaurant wasn't open during our stay. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main square or a 30 second walk to the nearest tram stop! Krakow is very flat so easily visited on foot. I'd last visited the city 35 years ago so it was lovely to return. There is plenty to do. We visited Auchswitz Birkenhau, the Shindler Museum, the Banksy museum and Wale Castle. We enjoyed wandering around all the various areas. Bars and restaurants are plentiful and it's easy to find vegetarian choices compared to many European Cities. Those located away from the main square are cheaper. We particularly liked Noto in the Jewish Quarter and the Ciut Ciut wine bar about 10 minutes from the hotel.
