There’s a reason this place has multiple travellers choice awards. And what a place it is. Let me first talk about the staff. The people who make Venetian House what it is. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always polite and helpful - pre arrival and during my stay. The apartments themselves are what you’d come to expect. Nice kitchenette area with an extremely comfortable bed, fantastic shower and nice table and chairs - exactly what you need after exploring Krakow. The apartments themselves however are clean, modern and well presented. Location is right bang in the middle of Market Square in the heart of the Old Town. Having the hotel a stones throw away from everything was a surreal experience. I highly, highly recommend Venetian House and I’m ever in Krakow again I will return.…

Visited for a short break. Excellent location to the main square in the old town. It is a pedestrian area but visiting on a short break meant little luggage. The room was bright airy, modern, clean and tastefully decorated. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with hob, microwave and fridge so we bought items for a continental breakfast. No tea towel though. Lovely bathroom with spacious shower and hairdryer. We were on top floor at the back so overlooked roof tops and church in background. There is also an ironing board, airer and iron as well as TV with international channels and safe. Staff were friendly and we were able to store our luggage on day of departure. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Very nice, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was spotless (since we were there 5 days, a maid came and cleaned the room while we were out and about our 3rd day there), and had all the amenities-fridge, cooktop with pots and pans, a small safe and air conditioning. The location is superb, right on the main square within walking distance to all the attractions in town. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Krakow and if we visit again, we will be sure to stay here. Thank you to the Venetian House staff for all that you do to provide great service and a fantastic hotel!

Really liked this hotel. We were 2 sisters in a double size room. Location is perfect right on Market Square it's a 2 minute walk to eat, drink and be happy! Very clean. Great shower, everything you need. Lovely staff. Molto Italian resurant just outside reception perfect for a visit. All the culture is just outside your door. Better than your average mid rate hotel.

We were lucky enough to stay in a 1 bed apartment and it was huge! Exceptionally clean with enough kitchen implements to cook if you chose to, a dishwasher and fridge. Sofa was comfortable, bed was gorgeous and the choice of either a large fluffy pillow or a smaller harder pillow was great (small things hey!) Bathroom had a lovely big shower and complimentary shower gel. Situated right on the square, it was perfect for walking to fabulous restaurants and tourist attractions yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning

Our first visit to Krakow and with a fantastic stay at the Venetian apartments, it definitely won’t be our last. The apartments are located on the square, close to lots of beautiful restaurants and cafes, shops and a little supermarket is a few doors up. They are a hidden treasure disguised as a gorgeous Italian restaurant called Molto (worth a visit too)! The apartment itself was spotless, had plenty of room and the kitchenette was set up with utensils and pots so would be useful if you wanted to stay in and prepare food. We had a three night stay and there wasn’t a maid service which suited us fine. We were supplied with ample towels and could request clean ones at our convenience, according to a notice in the room. Rooms were complete with air conditioning, ironing board, shower gel, clothes airer and even a hairdryer. The staff were so friendly on arrival and departure and were able to guide us through some directions to get to Auschwitz via the bus service. We can not fault the Venetian apartments, they were gorgeous and we can’t wait to go back.…

Fantastic location. We walked everywhere during our stay. Very clean and modern and well set up for a family. We had little to do with staff but they were very friendly. It was also set back from the square so not too noisy.

Fantastic stay at the venetian. Rooms well equipped and spotlessly clean. Staff were well friendly and polite. We didn't eat at the venetian so can't comment on food. We did notice there was no daily maid service but that didn't bother us. The venetian is on the square so was convenient. If we ever return would definitely stay here.

A great Hotel/Apartments situated right on the square Only there for four nights but Towels and Sheets changed. 24 hr service on reception, and very helpful. We didn't book any trips in advance as we were not sure of our plans. Local tourist info office just across the square, booked all trips there. Do not eat on the square at night, expensive. Eat off the square much cheaper. Would recommend 3 The Black Duck,Smak Ukrainski, and Taco Mexican.

What can I say, this hotel is fantastic. I came with my mother for a long weekend, to sightsee and to go on the auschwitz-birkenau tour. This hotel is in a prime location in the old market square. Directly outside is the cloth hall, St Mary’s basilica and an array of fantastic restaurants (the Italian restaurant next door does the nicest mojitos!!). From the moment we checked in the staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. They even provided us with a toaster on request for our room when we informed them that we had an early pick up time for our tour so wouldn’t have been able to go to a restaurant. We stayed in room 28 which was immaculately clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The shower was probably the best shower I’ve ever used, it felt like having a massage. We had a balcony which looked over the restaurant and courtyard which was lovely to stand out on in the morning with a cup of tea, and was gorgeously lit at night. We will definitely be rebooking this hotel, and can’t wait to come back.…
