We came here on a couples break with our friends and it was very nice. Hotel is lovely and very close to the old town square with plenty of bars and restaurants. We didn’t use the hotel for anything other than sleeping in. So not sure what breakfast etc is like. But if you’re after a nice quiet hotel close to the square I’d highly recommend. 10/10

third time staying at Stare Miasto, cannot fault it. Apart from taxi not turning up (booked by them) , everything else was great. Location perfect, room clean. We only saw one other couple coming and going while we were there, it feel like a home from home much more than a hotel does. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Krakow.

Stayed here in Feb and is a lovely hotel to stay at. Great location near the old town and easily accessible for the tram and if you need a taxi to the airport. The interior was very nice with the exposed brick and each room is unique making it exciting upon arrival. The room came with a hob, pots and pans and cutely if you want to eat in! The only downside was the jacuzzi bath was not working which was a real shame

It pains me to give this hotel such a negative review as i have stayed on two previous occasions and ut has been fantastic. I stayed from 22-26th Jan 24, my two friends had room 605 and my wife and I were in room 606. On the first night the sounds of an ongoing disturbance in the room above kept both our rooms awake. Screaming, shouting, items banging on the floor and sounds of crying. I went to reception to complain. The female member of staff was on the phone to room 604 who were also making a complaint and threatening to call the Police. I made the receptionist aware of our complaint and she asked me to accompany her up to the room as she did not feel safe doing so alone. I went up to the room with her and she warned the occupants. A short time later it continued again. I once more had to go to reception and found another guest already there making a complaint. She this time went up alone to deal with the situation. It did not stop and continued to beyond 5am. I asked at breakfast to speak with a manager which was not possible at that time and made the receptionist aware of the events of the night before. We then went out for the day. We recieved a phone call from the manager asking us to come back several hours later after i submitted a written complaint via email. We were some distance away so he then placed the phone over to the occupant of the room that was causing the disturbance. He was very apologetic however beung strong armed into a forced apology does not make up for a loss of a nights sleep and horrible experiance. We were then asked to email the manager to say we accept the apology, we told him no, and he stated he would refund us for the first night. This was on speaker phone and overheard by all four of us. I emailed to confirm it in writing thereafter and the email was ignored. I then again attempted to have it confirmed and two days later recieved an email from a receptionist saying that we were not entitled to a refund for the first night as we did not make more complaints after the two i had submitted. It then went on to describe some apparent ficticious chat about room 705 and that how if we had complained again we would recieve part of their deposit. This conversation simply did not happen and it would certainly not have been a resolution we would have agreed to. What also strikes me is that the hotel feels it acceptable to have to multiple guests complain, a sleepless night for its guests but if you do not complain enough then thats your fault. One complaint should be enough, the hotel should not condone such behaviour and by failing to deal with it properly thats exactly what they do. On checkout day the "manager was unavailable to speak to us as he was busy and would respond via email". I have emailed since seeking a response and it has been ignored. We have taken it up with Booking.com who have been fantastic and assured us that we will recieve a refund. The hotel has also till now not engaged with them either. Further to this tea bags were not replaced, milk was not topped up and the apartment was never swept. The streets are covered in road salt at this time of year and after a few days the floor of the apartment was a mess, it was obvious it was not hoovered once. Positives the breakfast was fantastic each day and the staff member we delt with on a face to face were pleasant. This will be my third and sadly final visit to this hotel solely down to how management have handled the situation on our first night. I have no confidence in their ability to handle a similar situation should it arise so i will take any booking in the area elsewhere.

Lovely clean and modern studio really close to the main square (and Christmas markets when we were there!) Ideal for a weekend break or a week which is what we did. Couldn’t fault the place or its location. There was a tiny supermarket a stones throw away, plenty of restaurants and cafes in the square and side streets and a short walk to a tram stop which also happened to be the closest hop on hop off bus stop (Pocsta Glowna or main post office in English)

High ceilings and brick walls make the cleaning quite poor. Dust is visible everywhere above 1mt high. We thought that the concept of “Aparthotel” could combine the services of a hotel with the comfort and spaces of an apartment. What we found, instead, was missing housekeeping (only available upon request by hanging a card on the door. When we returned at night we saw the card on the floor, we were told that housekeeping probably didn’t see it and so they didn’t make up the room. This is the second time it has happened, because we stayed here last month too. To recover, the receptionist asked us if she could offer toilet paper or towels), dust, missing wardrobe (actually, a very funny open-space one above a coffee table), kitchenette without aspiration hood, no table, no chairs to dine on. After a business day out, it was definitely not a welcome back.

We arrived at the hotel about 9 am, and our room wasn’t ready(we obviously expected this) we asked if we can leave our bag somewhere so we can go explore, the only bad part of this hotel was the bag keep it felt unsecured because it’s just an open room to the left of the reception.. perhaps I just have a London outlook on this, but it felt odd. Our room was on the fourth floor at the back, really nice, spacious room and a super comfy bed. The ladies at reception are very friendly. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. You literally come out of the hotel walk to the right for about 50 metres then turn left walk about 70 metres and then you’re in the main square right opposite cloth hall.. perfect location. You can expect to be stopped outside the hotel by a random Ukrainian asking for money because he lives in the subway with his wife and children but it’s not just this hotel, most hotels had this problem. The only issue I had was the booking situation. We booked via Booking.com and received an email two weeks before we went asking to give them an offer to see if we can upgrade so I selected the max you could offer to upgrade and it was declined, so I emailed they said you didn’t offer enough, if you want to upgrade it will be an extra 2000 Zloty which I thought was confusing. But you can’t fault the hotel it’s incredible 100% recommend. The meeting points for the Salt Mines and Auschwitz-Birkenau are only 10 minute walk away from the hotel👍🏻

So we’ll positioned for all the sights on the old town, few metres walk. Really nicely presented, clean and very comfortable beds and bedding. Down a little side street with a few lovely restaurants that have gardens behind them and close to small supermarket for essentials. 20 minutes drive from the airport, we booked a taxi ride for approx £17. Very busy cafes in market squares but lovely quieter ones just one street back. So much to do and watch. I’m fussy and would definitely recommend this place as a good one to stay in if you like to be a little independent and sort yourself out with food or enjoy the restaurant next door for breakfast lunch and supper
