When rating accommodation, I believe that ‘value for money’ should be the main factor. In this case Wawel Hotel is absolutely perfect. Perfectly situated, clean, super nice staff, cosy functional rooms with new bathrooms. Appreciated the 24-hours reception - even for Christmas.

Not sure their beer selection is particularly inspiring. Lots of bars so our advice is just ask for something local and hope for the best!

Hi- I'm not sure we never travelled with children but there were children in the hotel. I would suggest emailing the hotel to ask them. I'm sure they'll be happy to give any info you need.

There is no bar in the hotel , as others have said, but there are plenty of cafés in the vicinity.
