Great location, right by Wawel Castle and just a short walk up to the main square and the Jewish district of Kazimierz - an ideal location for us. This charming hotel has an 'an air of faded elegance' about it, this was a return visit and again, didn't disappoint.. Our room was comfortable, large room and very clean and warm,...

Had a standard double bedroom which was large, plenty of storage space, very comfortable bed, decor a little dated but added character. The ensuite bathroom was spacious and modern. TV & free wifi, there was a kettle but no teabags/coffee or milk so take your own if needed. Staff polite and helpful, only had breakfast there which was good. Hotel...

Regarding location, almost the best you can ask. Right by the Wawel Castle and still only a few minutes on foot to the old square. The hotel offers parking space, but it costs, if I'm not mistaken, around 60zl per day and it is not so close to the hotel's entrance anyway. We were lucky that we were there during...

This hotel was booked over the phone on recommendations from other travellers. The rooms are massive in the old section. It really does have a lot of character if a little in need of modernisation. having said that we had a lovely view over the park which was quiet and peaceful. It is massive!! We ended up walking outside to...

Hotel is in a great location, just a short stroll from the square, If you book any trips you get picked up straight outside. Breakfast normal fare - toast, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries, cereal, hams, juice. Rooms large but ask for one facing the gardens, otherwise a bit noisy from the trams that run till about 12.30am. Rooms could do...

This is a huge series of old houses combined into a hotel. While I agree with other reviews that the tram outside is a bit noisy, I think this hotel has real character and charm. My room had a really high ceiling. Excellent bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice, and all the staff were extremely helpful at all times. Perfect...

The Royal Hotel is conveniently located across the Wawel Royal Castle, and within walking distance to the Old City main square, restaurants, cafes and interesting sights. The rooms are big, specially the suites with a sitting area and balcony. The regular rooms are quite ample and comfortable. The bigger rooms have refrigerators, and all have an electric kettle to enjoy...

Located right oposite Wawel Castle and 10 mins walk from the main market square, and about 15mins drive from airport. 24hr reception. Upon arrival at reception we were offered a free city guide and map of the area. Our room was for 3 people and was huge. This old hotel is a bit of a maze and quite easy to...

Arrived to the hotel during September. Great location. The deluxe rooms are very big and nice but the single room wasn't comfortable. The hotel design is lovely and restaurant looks amazing. Remember to book and wait.. otherwise it takes long time. Enjoy.

Difficult to find from reception but once there we had two rooms both 20ft x20ft.Must have been an apartment in years gone by.Bathroom fine though the towels were thin and threadbare. No complaints about breakfast and the location is right next to the castle.
