Pleasantly clean hotel. Most of the staff are friendly. No air conditioning in the room we had so room was over 26 degrees whole time we stayed. Window wouldn’t open. The loft restaurant downstairs isn’t the best, there is a restaurant further back and the staff in there are very pushy. Accommodated our requests when requesting more pillows and a later check out.

The hotel is a great location for exploring the area. It is spotlessly clean and we had a nice view of the wheel from the window. Lots of space in the room itself, the only things we would say is the shower goes hot and cold and there are no english channels on the tv. Apart from the barman who was very helpful and attentive, the rest of the staff were extremely rude, they never attempted to even interact or be polite to us at all. When we arrived the lady on Reception did not even say hello, she could not find the reservation until I handed her my paperwork confirmation, she then gave us the key and said "go to the lift, 7th floor" all the time we used the hotel we never had any of the staff say hi, are you ok or anything, generally not even a smile, even on checkout not even a goodbye, did you enjoy your stay or anything. When we ever asked a question their response was an abrupt "no" like we were not meant to be there. I think if the staff had of been nicer it would if made our trip a bit more enjoyable. If you are looking for a cheap central hotel with nice food and reasonably priced drinks, this is ideal if you are not bothered about the personal service. Places we would recommend to visit are the salt mines, Birkenau, Jewish quarter, Castle, fire breathing dragon, main square, generally there are some amazing buildings in Krakow and there's some great parts to the city, we found the best way to get around was via taxi using the bolt or uber app, extremely cheap. We would recommend Legends karaoke bar, it was by far the best atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in there, its a shame we only found it on the last night otherwise we would have gone back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Staff training took place and I assure that such situation will not appear in the future. I am glad that cleanliness was especially appreciated as well as good value for money. Location in the city center just next to most interesting sightseeing places of Krakow is our advantage. Hope to see you back soon. Tomasz K. - General Manager

We had a really great stay here. The hotel helped us book some tours. Knew the area really well to help with directions. They made up boxed breakfast for us when we had to be up early and when we got to eat breakfast at the hotel there was a wide variety of foods to eat and drink. Centrally located. Would come here again

Great budget hotel and good location, it’s a couple of minutes walk to the old town/square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could be a little bit cheaper for what you get but we had a nice stay. Could do with a slight update but it is still a comfortable stay for the cost.

Had a great 3 nights only $268US or just $89/night, Hotel was an ridiculously amazing value for the money! Would definitely stay here again! PROS: -Clean, modern, efficient, and large room -Outer edge of Old Town, but still walking distance to everything. -Friendly enough service -Two free water bottles, coffee/tea in room -BIG breakfast spread with lots of food options. CONS: -If the window is open, it can be a bit loud if there are drunk people outside hanging out and smoking, and vehicle noise. But I imagine its much worse if you stayed closer to the center of Old Town. For this low cost, you shouldn't expect any more than this. If you want more, you need to pay more for different hotel.

Staff at the Campanile were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location, in a fairly quiet area but only a few minutes walk from the main square and other attractions. The hotel itself seemed busy but there wasn’t much noise at night, (not sure if this was due to soundproofing or very respectful guests!) Breakfast was OK, not much of a selection of hot food, but this was fine considering the price we paid. Rooms were clean but basic, we could only find two plug sockets in the room, which doesn’t really meet modern requirements. This hotel offers very good value for money in a beautiful city. We would stay here again.

The good points: Very reasonable breakfast, and a very good location. BUT: I've been visiting Kraków for over 20 years, and I've seldom visited a hotel that takes such little care. At check-in, the receptionist told me only about the time of check-out; she didn't bother to tell me the breakfast times or location. There was no smile, no welcome. Just a sense of getting it over with! And when I reached the room, it smelled of a group of guys who'd probably being staying there 2/3 nights. The extra sofa beds had been hurriedly folded up. Even worse, the bathroom stank of urine and vomit. I went back down to reception and was offered another small, dark, courtyard side room on the second floor. This was also above two noisy restaurants that play loud music from 7am until 11pm. I decided to air the first room. It had quite simply not been cleaned properly. Later, I discovered the shower was not working well. Too much water was still coming out of the tap after I had switched to shower mode. Therefore the shower water was very weak. When I reported this to reception the following morning, another surly receptionist told me, ''It is not broken. You are just not using it properly''. When I explained that I know how to use a shower, she finally agreed to send a technician who later confirmed that it was faulty. I had only two nights there but it was an unpleasant experience. Unclean, unfriendly, and a hotel that has not had room renovations since the '90s. It is grotty, feels dirty, old carpets and stains. It's become a place for stagnighters at the weekends. Even worse, the staff simply do not care. It's the worst reception I have encountered in Krakow in all my years visiting. Yes, Krakow is suffering mass tourism right now, but that also means there are many more quality hotels in the city than previously. I advise you to avoid this one; you will find much better!
