Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a quaint little guest house in the old town , it does not have a lift so no good to people with mobility problems , they supply towels and shower gel and there is tea and coffee in the room , there is a small fridge in the communal area, but nothing to cook on not even a microwave no plates etc, for a room only I did expect more facilities, my room was not in the main building but over looking a bar courtyard , this was very noisy in the evening, also someone started drilling early every morning, ideal as a base, quite dated but clean and reception staff friendly

The place was really cool. It was well hidden and off the road, beautiful scenery. It felt like I was stepping into Narnia every time I went back to my hotel room. The showers are so strong and I felt actually clean after using them.

This was our fourth time staying at the hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. The staff cannot do enough to help you and are always smiling. You get a real rustic Poland stay here, unlike the chain hotels that look the same no matter what country you are in

I stayed here 4 nights early March 2023. Paid about £20 per night.Exceptional value and very close to central square, lovely quiet guest house, clean spacious room with en-suite bathroom. Helpful friendly staff, fluent in English. Easy walking distance to all the main sights. Room only but plenty of nearby cafes for breakfast. I highly recommend Globtroter Guest House to all and if I visit the wonderful city of Krakow again, I will definitely look no further than Globtroter for my accommodation!

A small comfortable Guest House with a difference. Located off the Plac Szczepanski, in an older building block, the rooms are located ocross several floors (no lifts, only stairs) and are large and spacious. There are the usual coffee and tea making facilities along with WC and television in each room. The location is within th old city walls and it was ideal for accessing the Christmas market in the main square (5 minute walk away). Reception is set to the rear of the ground floor, to the left, and is manned most of the time. The staff were all really helpful and can arrange taxi transfers or day trip excursions on your behalf. Although check out was at 11:00 we were able to leave our baggage in a secure location at reception until we left in the afternoon. A great budget place to stay.

Great little place, difficult to find due to a a different name being over the door but there is a big sign to the left I missed the first time! It's set in lovely grounds and it had just started snowing when I got there and the little courtyard looked lovely in the snow the next day. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was so quaint. I found it far too hot though as the radiator did not seem to turn down so I had to have the window open at night, which meant I could hear the clock bells and tunes every hour, which added to the ambiance of the place. Facilities good but may as well remove the TV as it didn't work. Very affordable and nice to have your own room and bathroom!

Myself and my partner stayed here in November 2022. When I booked I selected because it was close to Rynek Głowny and was the cheapest private room and bathroom. The pictures do it no justice - it is beautiful. Check in was easy - the staff are polite and accommodating. The room was clean and warm considering the temp hit minus 1°c at times - we slept without covers. The was that the room was on the 2nd floor and there were lots of stairs which was not ideal (considering both myself and my partner are old and overweight). The location is spectacular. Literally seconds from Rynek Głowny, the Planty and tram stops. The place was quiet even though it is located in a courtyard at the back of restaurants and bars. The only criticism (and it’s not really a criticism) is that it is hard to find from the street. Due to Krakow planning laws it in the Stare Miasto signs cannot be flashy etc so keep an eye out for an unassuming notice board. If you pass the shop Żabka you have gone too far. We will be back!! Thank you for a brilliant stay.

I had a fantastic stay in Krakow last April (mostly volunteering) and another great stay last week. This time I was more a tourist than a volunteer. I really like this cool, creaky old wood building. Think the opposite of a sterile chain hotel. The location in the heart of the old town is perfect. You can walk to everything. I did have a weeklong tram card and that was helpful for my Lidl runs and deliveries. They don't have daily room cleaning and that makes sense. Save water, energy, and natural gas. Make sure to try Charlotte Cafe, directly across from the Globetroter entrance. The front desk staff are amiable and gladly answered my questions. Thanks to Paulina, Mareck and Julia.
