Lovely hotel, close to the old town square with plenty of restaurants and shops surrounding. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and fresh bottles of water and top up of tea and coffee was supplied daily during house keeping. The only downside was that we couldn't get any English speaking channels on the TV however this didn't affect the trip.

What a great find, the location is situated in the pedestrianised old town just off the main square on the route to the castle. The hotel is clean & well maintained and very importantly as the weather was cold, lovely & warm. We had a room at the front of the hotel on the 4th floor, but due to the good double glazing we were not disturbed by any noise. The room was comfy and like the rest of the hotel spotlessly clean & well maintained. The bed and pillows were also very comfy, great for a good nights sleep after a day sightseeing. The self serve breakfast was also very plentiful, with hot & cold selections every day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and were able to speak really good English, really helpful when you can’t speak polish. This is a great hotel for a break in the beautiful city of Krakow and I would definitely stay here again if I went back to the city for another visit in the future.

A nice hotel just a few steps away from the wonderful old town main square in Krakow. We had a 4 night stay at prices much lower than others on the main square itself. The entrance was a typical narrow ground floor (as seen in many Italian cities) that opens out at the rear. Check in was seamless and all the staff were excellent during our stay. The room was large for a city centre hotel and the bathroom huge and spotless. We didn't get disturbed by any noise at all during our 4 nights, a nice quiet place. The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 was that the breakfast was a bit on the bland side with no variety each day. It was filling enough and plentiful but not to our taste. Apart from the crusty fresh bread, which was excellent.

Nice visit. Very clean hotel, nice and helpful staff. Only two downsides for me - firstly, the rooms didn't seem as big as advertised, but I guess that's the beauty of photography, the beds I particular felt a bit small. I had a single, and as a slim female, it was only just big enough. Secondly, there is so much noise. My room was facing the street and I could hear absolutely everything, such loud people on the street. The walls didn't seem that thick either, I could other people in their rooms many times. It was incredibly clean and absolutely fantastic location. I would t recommend if you have sleeping issues/light sleeper, but otherwise a great place to stay

Hotel Jan is a lovely hotel situated steps away from the main square, with lots of bars, shops and restaurants in the close vicinity. We stayed for 4 nights. Room was perfect, beds were comfortable, air conditioning was very good and much needed in September. We had a room with a balcony and it was huge, was lovely sitting outside with a glass of wine. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location with everything on your doorstep (restaurants, bars, shops etc). Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have been a little better as there was not much choice (standard cereal, bread and fruits, with two non veg options) and the foods also had no labels so wasn't too sure what everything was. Hotel recommended.

A great little hotel right in the heart of the action - Krakow Old Town. Helpful staff, a comfortable room, easy walking distance to the iconic sites such as the Cloth Hall, St Mary's Basilica, the Florian Gate, and a multitude of places to dine and listen to outdoor musicians. With my room facing the Main Street Grodzka I thought the revelry outside would keep me awake but the windows are quite sound-proof. Useful tram connections again easy walking distance.

My wife and I visited with another couple. Hotel Jan is a very interesting boutique hotel in Stare Miasto (Old Town), just a half-block from Rynek Glowny (Main Market), and a short walk to Wawel Castle. Our room was clean and well-appointed. Front desk service was excellent. One of the clerks diligently tracked down information about an attraction of particular interest to one of our group, even though that attraction's online footprint was almost non-existent. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a range of fresh fruit, croissants/fresh-baked bread, eggs, sausage, and more.

We stayed here 7th to 11th September 23 and must say very impressed. It was very clean and tidy rooms always attended to and breakfast was in nice clean dinning room. We had room 10 which was at back of hotel and had no noise. Large bed, fridge, kettle ,bottled water ever day and tea plus coffee. Towels changed as requested along with toiletries and no need for hairdryer as that's supplied. Reception staff very nice and all spoke English. Plenty eating places outside . Loads of things to see and do ie Castle is just a short walk turn right at hotel walk down road. Cloth Hall which is indoor market underneath is a museum must to see. Schindlers Factory short ride in taxi Jewish quarter,Basilica is a definite must. The Gallery shopping centre OMG its massive. We will definitely return
