Staff on reception were really helpful, only 5 mins walk to the square Mama Mia’s just around the corner, a great base for a 3 star breakfast has something for everyone. Uber to the airport £9 and takes 30 mins

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had booked a premium room and once we arrived they had upgraded us to a premium apartment. The room/lounge was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the bath in the bedroom was a luxury finish! The hotel is situated right on the edge of the busy square, just a walk across the park. The breakfast was fresh and had a selection of options. We would definitely come back, the location was great and a very comfortable stay, a home from home. Krakow is a very beautiful place, we came for a long weekend and had trips out everyday; Schindlers factory is 30 minutes from the hotel, Auschwitz 1hour 30 and the salt mines 30. We fell in love with Krakow and would love to come back and explore some more!

The location was perfect. So close to the Square. The hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and packed us up a breakfast for our day trip. Our only concern was the noise. We travelled as two couples. One room was right by the lifts and was very noisy throughout the night. It was also on ground level right next to the gravel driveway. Fortunately, ear plugs were packed. The second room was on the 4th floor and was an apparent Upgrade room. The first night we were woken by the noise next door. It was 3.30am and it lasted until just after 5am. The noise consisted of people talking and laughing. The walls were so thin you could here every sound. We phoned down to reception and the lady said she would call them. You could literally hear their phone ringing. The occupants of the next room checked out the next day.....fortunately!!! This was our second day of our visit and after a walk around the city we came back to our room and I was talking on the phone to my son back in the UK around 3pm. I came off the phone and could hear voices next door. The new occupants had complained about the noise we were making as I could hear the receptionist speaking to them saying that she would keep 'an eye on us' and that hopefully 'we would be quiet throughout the night'. I was only talking on the phone. I went down to the receptionist and she said she could hear me talking on the phone and that the new occupants wanted a room change due to the noise. The receptionist said that she has never had a complaint about noise before....yet she could hear was me talking!! She said that she could hear my every word. So very strange. If you choose this hotel, please be aware that the rooms on the 4th floor that are upgraded have very thin walls. We are just so fortunate that they moved the people next door and we did sleep very well for the last 2 nights. At the end of the day, neither of us were doing anything loud or unreasonable. It was just talking. The walls are paper thin!! Such a shame as there are so many positives about this hotel.

Clean, contemporary boutique hotel in a great location for exploring the city. Room was quite small but neat and adequate for the very short time we spent actually in the room Great shower with plenty of hot water. Could do with new pillows, fitted sheets and a bin in the bedroom. Breakfast was adequate and in keeping with the price we paid. Staff were friendly and courteous and happy to help. Would recommend the hotel to those requiring a no frills budget hotel which was central, clean and modern.

The hotel was outstanding, we arrived and was told we had gotten a free upgrade in room. The room was superb. The staff was also superb very friendly and going above and beyond for us when booking a visit to Auswitchz. Brilliant staff. Breakfast was lovely and a great way to set up your day. The location is perfect literally around the corner from the main square. Absolutely faultless stay. Would definitely recommend and also would definitely go back for another stay.

A great hotel with great location. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. We were staying in a lovely modern room, water, chocolates provided on arrival. 10 minutes walk to the old town. Beds were comfy and they were cleaned daily. There was a water fountain outside our room which was handy. We had forgotten a plug adaptor and the lovely man on reception gave us one. A great stay and would definitely return.

Booked a double room and got a twin. Told they could push the beds together if we want - you could tell the receptionist had done this many times. You get one lumpy pillow so asked for more and told might get some tomorrow. Bathroom is old and tiny, shower is ok for children if they are small. Beds are terrible and mattress stained. TV doesnt work. Asked at reception and told to try pressing different buttons. This is not a 3 star hotel. It is not cheap but it is nasty. The staff are clearly used to complaints and don't really care.

Our first trip to Krakow and we wanted a nice hotel in a good location - this ticked all the boxes for us online and we were not disappointed! The hotel is modern and clean, staff are helpful and the location is 10/10. The only downside for us was the breakfast which was included but wasn’t really to our taste. We did unfortunately receive a twin room but we made the best of it, however the pillows did leave a little to be desired (just one pillow each and incredibly flat) - however this is my only complaints. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again myself if I was to return.

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your first trip to Krakow and for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. We're delighted to hear that our hotel's modern and clean ambiance, helpful staff, and prime location met your expectations. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're thrilled to know that we ticked all the boxes for you. However, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the breakfast not meeting your taste preferences and for the twin room allocation. Regarding the pillows, we appreciate your feedback and will certainly look into improving this aspect of comfort for our guests. It's wonderful to know that despite these minor issues, you would still recommend our hotel and consider staying with us again in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back and ensuring a more enjoyable experience next time. Warm regards, Hotel Alexander Staff
