Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We give a 5 stars to this hotel as it exceeded our expectations. Is a family run hotel with great friendly and helpful staff (The manager Suzanne and her team), breakfast was better than expected, the location was great for us as it was a 10min drive from Krakow airport, 20 mins drive to krakow city centre and 10mins away there was a great shopping centre (factory), you may meed a car to get to the hotel though but they might offer transfer (we don't know as we had a car). Also the best was the heated indoor swimming pool and you had the options to request massage service at reasonable price. Definitely a 5 stars review for this hotel category and excellent value for money.

Very good place to sleep before or after flight. Only problem was that we booked room for 2+1 (2 yrs old) and no extra bed was in room. But they added cot when asked. Ceiling is a bit low. Parking is comofortable. No elevator if this is important! There is a fridge in the hallway. Very quiet.

Stayed here for 4 nights, and it was beautiful. Had the room with the jacuzzi bath, and it was magnificent. My partner asked for the romantic package so I had rose petals on the bed and around the bath, candles, wine and chocolate. It was perfect. The bathroom is well decorated for a relaxing soak, very neutral. The bed was comfy, and the room was spacious. The outside areas were clean and spacious, very calming and relaxing. The pool was clean, and lovely, especially the sauna as well. Breakfast was always fresh and very tasty. The staff were very kind and friendly, and were lovely in most languages. Would go again, definitely recommend!

This villa is a 10 minute ride from the airport. It is hidden in the hills. They were so accommodating. We had an early departure so breakfast was prepared for us an hour earlier than the normal time. The villa is comfortable and cozy. I would be happy to return there.

Villa Zakamycze is a superb , spotlessly clean and wonderfully friendly place to stay for a visit to the Krakow area. It is ideally located between Krakow airport and the amazing city centre , with the Wieliczka Salt Mines and the thought provoking Auschwitz museum nearby. The rooms are excellent , the heated pool is great , it is quiet and with nice views of the forest , a fabulous property , i would recommend Villa Zakamycze.

We only stayed one night, very close to the airport. The staff were very friendly despite us checking in near 1am. The room was very clean and breakfast was super. Can't recommend this place enough!!!

In a nice quiet location with friendly staff. Lovely heated swimming pool but.....Whilst in the pool they had a power cut (not the Villas fault). The pool room was then completely dark. I had my wife and children (2 and 4) in the pool and could not see them! Finally after finding them and getting them safely to the side I HAD TO CRAWL IN THE PITCH BLACK up stairs to the lounge. This was lit with a few candles. I got to the reception to get help. They had No working torch and the girl had to use her phone for lighting. THERE IS NO SAFETY LIGHTING IN THE POOL!!!!! Someone could have drowned! This was a horrible experience and got me thinking....We were staying in the separated bungalow. There are NO SMOKE ALARMS, NO FIRE EXTINGUISHERS and no safety lighting. This is not SAFE! I asked about fire safety and there were a few battery smoke alarms in the main building but again no fire extinguishers or emergency plan. The bungalow (converted garage by the look of it) is small and the stairs are narrow and steep and generally a little grubby. There is mould in the bathroom and several of the electricity sockets are poorly installed/loose. (Even though the bungalow has only been used for the last 6 months)There is no oven just a single hob so cooking meals was difficult. Up (the very narrow, steep stairs) is a mezzanine floor with a mattress on the floor. You cannot stand up due to low ceiling and the wall nearest the stairs is just a few wooden slats. A child could easily fall through to the floor below! This is not a safe place to stay and even less safe with children!!

Very comfortable and quiet small hotel very close to krakow and to airport. Ideal if you have some spare time to enjoy the swimming pool and the location in a beautiful area of other exclusive villas and countryside. Personnel is very nice, area is extremely quiet. Rooms are not luxurious but surely clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights after a late arrival at Krakow airport. Booked the room with the jacuzzi - a lovely decadent little touch and well worth it! The room with the jacuzzi actually has 2 bedrooms, one with a double and one with 2 singles, but if you book it as a room they'll just lock the room with the 2 singles. No problem. Room is nicely laid out, plenty storage space, comfy seating, a ceiling fan and a standing fan. Not sure if the standing fan was there because of the heatwave or always, but good touch. Room & bathroom were clean, nice toiletries too. Breakfast was amazing. The spread laid out was very continental and Polish, but delicious, good fresh coffee/tea selection, and freshly cooked scrambled eggs were very tasty. Nice little area to sit outside as well, and a small pool for a swim. Overall, couldn't really fault it. Forgot something in the room - called the hotel back before the next check in opened. They managed to find it (after guiding them to where I thought it was, under the sofa!) and then kept it behind reception where I picked it up a few days later. Great service again. Would happily recommend this hotel and would stay again. Close to the airport as well - about 7km, but much nicer than the Hilton at the airport!
