Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Got there at night only to be met bulky a hostel that did not at all resemble the nice pictures online. There was a (dirty looking) kitchen in the hallway where the pictures showed a mirror. The pictures also all looked cozy and clean, but in reality it was dirty and sketchy. There was mold in the shower and you could see into the toilets (these were unisex btw so anyone can see in). The receptionist service was ok, she was friendly. We were initially given a room that had no other roommates, but we were requested to change rooms because she needed to clean ours (should have been done before our arrival). This would have been no problem, if it weren't for our new roommate. We were in a 6 bedroom shared room of which our roommate had taken two for himself. One for sleeping and one for dumping his trash on. It looked like he had been living there for a while. He was watching tv loudly and refused to turn it down even at 10pm while we were all trying to sleep. He was drinking and smoking frequently (not in the room) so the room smelt like smoke and he was drunk. He would get hostile when asked to keep it quiet in the middle of the night. The environment itself also was extremely loud, so after a terrible sleep, we had decided to leave and look for another hostel. The receptionist was no where to be found, so our only option was to leave the keys on the desk and check ourselves out. Please to yourself a favour and avoid this place!!!!

DANGEROUS!! Absolutely awful! There was a man in our room, that I think lives there who threatened my partner in the middle of the night. Even though there was no drinking allowed on the premises, he was absolutely wasted. I would even dare call this place a dangerous place to stay in. AVOID!!  The man in our room had taken over every bed and corner that wasn't used with his belongings. All 4 of us slept approx an hour because the room was not quiet at all!! The drunks in the other rooms (whom also presumably live there) watched movies till the late hours and kept turning it up. When asked if they could lower the volume slightly because it was passed 11pm, it was met with drunk shouting, and threatening hand gestures. Never again! We left in the early morning and hope for a refund.

We stayed in this hostel with my wife when visiting Krakow for Night of Museum. Level of this hostel is quite enough when comparing to the price of it. We payed for 1 night with breakfast for 2 150zl which for Krakow is really good. We had 2-persons room which was quite small, but clean and bathroom good, it looks renovated not so long ago. For 1 or 2 nights in Krakow it's very good option I would say. With tram which stop is 50 metres from hostel you can get to the city center within 20-25 minutes, which is great.

Is a tiny nice hostel except for the location .it is not for partying ,due small space. The staff is super nice, accommodating and helpful. The toilets are really clean and smells perfect. The beds are so comfy and there was curtains on the lower bunk beds which I truly loved. I had the perfect sleeping experience. I just did not like the location as it is far from the old town and of course the nightlife however there was more than one supermarket in the area which was a plus. In total I would recommend it .ah, I forgot. ..it's not really a budget hostel.

Make no mistake and go elsewhere - or you'll be disappointed. This place is certainly below average. It's a typical Eastern European "flat hostel". Staff tried to be nice and helpful and spoke English. Far from the center (almost an hour walk, but there are trams). Nothing interesting to see near the hostel. Easy to find, you won't miss it on the street, though. Some shops nearby. Rooms are basic. There is a kitchen on the hallway. No common area. Wifi available. Price was low - but given the poor offering, I don't quite think this hostel will survive much longer. IMPORTANT, there is no 24h staff at the reception and you'll have to agree with staff when you can check in. For this reason and all the above, I'd recommend you to minimize risk and go with safer choices near the center. Better conditions and same price. Otherwise you might have to wait an hour on a dark staircase until someone opens the door. In sum, AVOID!!

Traveled down to Kraków by train and got an Über to Chilli Hostel as it was near by and had good reviews. When you first arrive downstairs it doesn't look anything special, but when you got upstairs the staff and the atmosphere is fantastic. The people there were so friendly and the diverse range of cultures and backgrounds made it the best stay I've had in Poland. Guitar playing, singing and drinking with great diverse conversation and joking. The rooms were tidy and the kitchen freely accessible at all times. The bathroom cleanliness was exceptional and they even offered to do your washing for you - free of charge!! I arrived with no pre-booking and they let me stay for 4 nights! I met some wonderful people and stayed in a beautiful city. This Hostel might not be close to the centre but for 2,80 zł (0.65p) you can get into town from the tram just across the street.

Well if you're looking for partying then this is not the place to stay in. Firstly everything is really nice about this hostel except for the location and atmosphere. The staff is super nice, accommodating and helpful. I wanted to wash some clothes and they just asked me to give them my stuff and they washed it for me. The toilets are really clean and smells perfect. The beds are so comfy and there was curtains on the lower bunk beds which I truly loved. I had the perfect sleeping experience, there was also a fan which made it easier to sleep. I just did not like the location as it is far from the old town and of course the nightlife however there was more than one supermarket in the area which was a plus. In total I would recommend it and might be back.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, they give us advices and tips what to visit. The breakfast was very tasty, located in a small bar close to the hostel. The room was clean and cute as well. The hostel is about 15 minutes from the center.

I spent 3 nights in here. It's 10 minutes from the center by tram. The best was the extremely nice personnel, not a quality found in many hostel around Poland. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and they offer coffee and tea for free. I would definitely come back in my next visit to Cracow.
