My friend and I stayed at this hotel on 9th-13th March 2020. The first thing we noticed was how clean it is. The staff in reception were very efficient and very helpful. The room was immaculate. Enough wardrobe space for 2. The safe in the room was free of charge. The bathroom had quite a big shower, toiletries and a hair dryer. The rooms were made up every day and you could request clean towels, if required. Drinks in the hotel bar were very reasonably priced, two large flavoured vodkas with two mixers - £9. Breakfast was really good too, the best scrambled eggs we had ever had. The only downside to breakfast was that if an item tray was empty it did seem to take quite a while to get it filled up again, only a minor issue as there was lots of selection. It was a 10 minutes walk into the main square, so location is very good. Would I stop here again? Without a shadow of a doubt.

Fabulous hotel with fantastically knowledgeable staff! Nothing was too much trouble from booking trips , calling taxis and on arrival giving us a map with all points of interest and approximate transfer times. We declined breakfast on the first day as wanted to find somewhere more authentic but on reflection even though a little more expensive, the hotel proved to be the best option. Everything you would need to set you up for a days' sightseeing. Fried eggs a little overdone but the rest was lovely. Plenty of choice including fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bread options, pancakes and the usual salad and cooked meat/cheese options

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights, we were very politely checked in and out and looked after by members of staff which were friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms are clean and nicely put together with comfy beds and the overall cleanliness and presentation of the hotel is also great. The food is also really good may i add and i would definitely stay in this hotel if i return to kraków as planned. This hotel location is also great, it’s near Wawel Castle and a few other things in walking distance or a short trip in a taxi if needs be. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family to stay 👍🏼

The hotel itself was in a great location based only a short walk to the old town square and close to Wawel castle. It also had a lot of amenities in the area, supermarkets, bakeries and little breakfast places just along the street near the hotel. Also, if the walk is to far Uber was easily enough to use cheap as hell and always with us within a few minutes.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff were very helpful. The room itself was very clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Not slept as well ever on a city break. Only downside was our shower, although the shower itself was good, the seals had failed and everytime we had a shower the bathroom floor would basically turn a puddle. We had to use several towels a day just to soak up the water. We did report this and get more towels to soak the water up but I feel it needs to be fixed before somebody has an accident.

I would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who is visiting Krakow though and we will look to stay here again as it's a great base to visit the city.

Late review I’m sorry but I stayed here 1-6th November. It’s my second stay for dental work and have nothing but praise for the hotel and staff. They can’t do enough for you but would like to especially shout out to Dagmara and Kamil who really looked after me. They are a credit to the hotel and I look forward to staying again in 6 months when visiting for further dental work

I can't fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was absolutely perfect. We had a 'cosy double' and it still had plenty of room for a wardrobe (lovely and modern) a desk and a chair looking out the window. The bed was plenty comfortable enough and the bathroom was lovely! Really modern and clean. It even had a smart TV and a coffee machine and bottled water. In the lobby it always smelt so fresh, with fresh fruit infused water and comfy chairs. I personally feel its small things like this that leave you remembering your stay more! And all of this for such a reasonable price!
The hotel is also in an excellent location and was a 13 min walk to the main square where you will find all your restaurants and bars.

Perfect hotel, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Being told 1 day before you are due to travel that the hotel is now closed for refurbishment is not acceptable in any way. You would of known In advance what dates you had booked the refurbishment so you shouldn't of accepted any bookings. And rather than being offered a choice of hotel basically just being told your booking had been moved to a certain hotel without any other options.

Dear TChapperz, First and foremost we would like to apology and explain situation concerned your relocation. In case of this trouble we prepared an alternative accommoddation in our second, brand new INX Design Hotel located in a very historical Jewish District. INX Design Hotel is four star Hotel opened in August 2017. Guests appreciate localization of INX Design Hotel because it is only 15-20 minutes walking distance from the Old Town. Additionaly there is a tram stop oposite the street, which could be helpfull if you need to get to the Old Town faster. Please, accept our sincere apologies for all the inconveniences. We stayed at the Metropolis Design Hotel for a four day city break and were glad that chose this hotel. Although it was reasonably priced for a four star hotel it was clean, the rooms were all of a good size and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. We took the breakfast option and found that there was a wide selection of items for most palates, we only had a minor complaint in that the pancakes were cold. We would certainly recommend this hotel and if we were ever in Kraków again would use it

Lovely hotel with great amenities. We were able to arrange transfers with the hotel to pick us up/drop us off at the airport. Both drivers were super courteous and friendly.
Our rooms were great. We had a room for us and another room for our teenagers. The receptionist sorted the teens a room with single beds and we were next door. Very comfortable rooms, we all liked the colour changing lights in the bedrooms and the colour changing shower head.
Breakfast was lovely with lots of hot and cold choices. The hotel was located near the main square and the walk was very pleasant.

Stayed here at suggestion of someone who had stayed here before, so glad that we took their advice. Hotel is clean with spacious room and very comfortable bed, Small bar downstairs with friendly staff and outside seating ares. Reception staff also friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is enough to set you up for the day, don't expect "the full English" however there are juices,tea/coffee, bread, rolls, croissants, fruit and eggs. Good location only ten minute walk to main square. Great place to stay.
