First time to Krakow, and to be totally honest our hotel stay was definitely the highlight of our stay.

The location was perfect, very easy to get around loads of public transport on offer.

The facilities are amazing and a great base if you looking for modern, clean and friendly environment, then this hotel is a must.

We can’t wait to return soon.

The biggest asset my family and found here was how friendly the staff where, special mention must go to the outstanding service from Pawel who was on the front desk during our stay, as well as Anna who went out of her way to make our stay memorable.

Thank you team Doubletree Hilton Karkow you should be proud of what you are all doing at this wonderful hotel.

Hopefully see you soon,

From the de Carvalho family.

What a place this is, polite helpful staff is a start.
The hotel is about 15, 20 mins on a tram outside Kracow centre, this is not a problem at all, plenty of trams, less than 1GBP a journey, numbers 1, 15 and 22 all go past stop Plaza, the one you want to get off at and get on for that matter and this is right outside the mall which adjoins pretty much the double tree hotel, the mall is still to be occupied by shops, McDonalds is open and so is the cinema and Bowling alley but no shops yet, there are other malls in Kracow so this was not a problem to us, it made the whole place nice and quiet actually.
We had lounge access where we dined every evening, there's more than enough on offer, wine, soft drinks, coffee, cakes, pastries, beers, two warm meals which were fantastic everyday and different, desserts, nice ambience, until 8pm, a little later would of been better but still what a nice place, it's on the 5th, the top floor. We also could of had breakfast in the lounge but chose to dine at the ground floor restaurant and what a breakfast it is, you name it they had it, including an egg station, never too busy and always well topped up and clean.
The swimming pool area is wonderful, a large enough pool, gym, showers with products available, a hot tub, lockers, towels, a hotter water area to the pool with bubbles, jets, etc, very nice, steam room, sauna, fabulous everywhere.
The room we had was spacious, clean, housekeeping everyday as you'd expect, coffee maker although it was easier to go to the lounge for one, shower fabulous, again a spacious bathroom with double sinks and loads of products.
There was no noise to awaken us, no one ran on the corridors, there was no shouting, no slamming of doors, we didn't hear anybody else's TV.
We visited the usual Auschwitz camps and the Salt Mine from this location without issue.
Overall I'd book here again in a shot and fully recommend you do the same, great place.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December, booked via the Hilton Honours app and we paid around £217 without breakfast (which we paid for separately each morning for about £10 each).
The room was very nice with all the usual amenities, huge bed and robes/slippers.
We used the pool several times and that was very pleasant, towels are provided.
The bar is fabulous, drinks well priced and food snacks were very tasty. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was really good as were the snacks we ate at the bar.
We used the concierge to book a trip to Auschwitz 1 & 2, the bus picked us up outside the hotel (this trip is a must).
Taxis to/from the city center vary in price, the most we paid after 10pm on a Sunday night was 50zl (about a tenner), however the best way into town is using the fantastic tram service which is available about a 4 minute walk away and costs 3.4zl/65p for a 20 minute duration trip (enough to get into the town center); all the stops are on Google maps.
Finally, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic.
100% recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Another great Hilton experience.
The lobby area was clean and tidy, staff behind reception did a quick and friendly job of checking us in.
We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade (already booked exec room). Our room was lovely had all the amenities including coffee machine two bathrooms and a comfortable lounge area. The cleanliness was faultless and the room was of modern decor well maintained.
The exec lounge though smaller than some we have been to was adequately stocked and the staff were really attentive. The food selection was good and the quality great.
Getting around is easy, always a taxi to the front, and the hotel has two tram lines from
either the front or our preference out the back and through the shopping centre (we could get through the shopping centre at night 23:00 being our latest return)
Though situated a little out of the city centre it was great in a way as the hotel benefited from being really quiet and we had a couple of very restful nights sleep.
The shopping centre behind had a carrefour and a couple of newsagents.
Unless you want a wild night in The city centre this hotel is a great location.
Transport and alcohol is exceptionally cheap and using the carrefour to bring gifts home means a bottle of vodka is cheaper than a bottle of highland spring from Waitrose (at least comparable!)
We didn’t have a main meal in the hotel but did take breakfast in the main restaurant which again had a nice selection. The only wish was the had some HP brown sauce.
Lovely place will return.
Thank you to the hotel staff for making it a nice break for us.

I found this hotel to be very excellent in every respect. It is a Hilton Double Tree, which is a guarantee of quality; It is modern, well equipped, with all the facilities properly functioning. It is well maintained and is well looked after by housekeeping. It also has an "executive lounge" for clients who are eligible for this benefit. The business centre was fully operational, with two computers in the lobby and two more in the executive lounge, so I could easily work remotely. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which cannot be taken for granted nowadays, as many hotels have started reducing air conditioning to compensate for the high cost of energy. The breakfast buffet is good and plentiful, although a cook with wider views would be welcome. The service was fully satisfactory and the staff attentive. I stayed 6 nights in an "executive room", which met expectations perfectly. Water, coffee, tea, and toiletries were replenished daily. Bathrobes and slippers are part of the standard supply of the room. Upon arrival I received the traditional welcome cookies and, being a “diamond” member of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, I was promptly recognized all the benefits associated with this status; in the room I also found a rich welcome snack. To complete the favourable picture of the hotel, it must also be said that the rates are decidedly moderate.

However, the hotel suffers from its impractical location. It is located a few kilometres from the town, near the sports hall called "Arena". Until a few years ago the area was made attractive by the presence of a large shopping centre (the Krakòw Plaza) and a multiplex cinema. Nowadays these activities have been suspended and the hotel is located in an abandoned neighbourhood, among dismissed buildings. Communication with the city has also deteriorated. Three tram lines run near the hotel (numbers 1, 14 and 22), but the stop that served the hotel has now become inaccessible, and the nearest usable stop is more than half a kilometre away. This distance is covered by walking along a road that runs in open countryside and by crossing immense but empty parking lots, a walk that can be unpleasant in inclement weather or after sunset; so nowadays the most reasonable way to reach the centre of Krakow it is by taxi or by own car.

Nonetheless, given that the hotel is really good and the rates attractive, it may be worth staying here and dealing with the inconveniences associated with the location. Many people seem to think the same way, so much so that, during my stay, the hotel appeared full of vacationers and families enjoying a weekend away.

I like this hotel. Upon arrival, we were each given a cookie while waiting to be checked in. Great first impression. The room came with complimentary bottled water too, another pro. Room was clean, though a little small for 3 people sharing a room. Behind the hotel was a mall with supermarket, cinema, mcdonald's, etc, so it was really convenient. The only gripe I have would be how we were treated during breakfast. I do understand that in the morning, it is rather hectic at the breakfast area because of the number of guests. However, I still expect to be treated with respect. When I walked into the breakfast area, most of the tables were taken, and those that were not, had not been cleaned yet. However, as I was with my elderly parents, I felt that I should bring them to an empty(not cleaned yet) table so that they can at least sit down while waiting for the table to be cleared. As we approached the table, the staff that was in the midst of cleaning the table told us no rather rudely and asked us to go outside. He even repeated that. I was puzzled as to why we were sent outside. I understand he was still cleaning the table, however, why can't we sit down first? So we ended up standing around. When we realized no one is attending to other unoccupied tables that were not cleaned yet, we went to the hostess to ask her where we could sit. She brought us to a table that was not cleaned yet and began to clean up the table. I did not understand this service. In the first place, the first table we approached were already in the midst of being cleaned, and yet we were told that we could not sit there. That did not make much sense to me.

Spend a few nights at this very nice hotel by using Hilton points. We had an upgrade to a very nice cornersuiite and access to the executive lounge with diamond membership. This hotel have a very high standard in all areas and the staff is superfriendly.
It is situated just ouside the city center and the closest surroundings are a bit boring, but a 30 min walk or a taxi will take you to the old town. Or just stay at the hotel.. because it is really comfortable!

The Doubletree by Hilton, Krakow was the perfect hotel to stay in during our 4 day break.

We were impressed straight away by the beautiful luxurious lobby and the warm welcome cookies we were given and it just got better from there.

The bedroom and bathroom are really tasteful and spacious enough for the 3 of us and the standards of cleanliness were extremely high.

The spa area is gorgeous - there were saunas, a steam room, a relaxing area and hydro pools as well as the main pool area making it a fabulous place to chill out after a day's walking round Krakow. The staff at the spa were really welcoming and relaxed with everyone, even letting people play with a ball in the pool, and they kept the place spotless.

We had amazing breakfasts each morning, with so much to choose from, even sparking wine on some mornings!
The bar staff were really friendly and the meals and drinks were excellent value for money.

It may be situated a couple of km out of the centre of Krakow, but the hotel is close to a tram stop and trams are regular and cheap at just 4 zlotys per person. There's also a restaurant complex close by, so there's plenty of choice for eating out.

If we find ourselves in Krakow again, we'll certainly be staying at the Doubletree by Hilton Krakow

We've stayed in this hotel at least once a year since it opened including during corona virus and it was always great.
Something really drastic has happened since we last stayed October 2021.

It all starts to go wrong if you contact the hotel before you're stay, you get a frosty response and alarm bells start to ring..

Bespoke child's welcome or breakfast experience doesn't exist.
Children not allowed in pool after 8pm.
Children not allowed in exec lounge at all.
I'm amazed they sell family rooms as clearly don't want children in the hotel.
Even our 6 year old asked us why the hotel doesn't like him..

Talk to the receptionist and you think you've been savaged by a bunch of rottweilers, or at least 1 of them who thinks she's in charge.
Also once you leave she'll talk to all her colleagues, laughing and joking how she sent you packing, not realising you can speak polish..

Executive lounge has new policy's,
No kids (enforced instantaneously)
No bath robes (ignorned)
Nothing to be taken from lounge (ignored)
Think you get the picture, have a kid, get lost.
Anything else you are welcome to do what you want..

Exec lounge offering and quality has dropped massively..

I think 1 can assume this hotel has a new manager that is profit driven over customer service.

Breakfast has gone down the pan,
No muesli etc and the fresh egg/omelette man is never there so you can't ever order any..

Location used to be great, however now the shopping mall has closed its turned into a dive, its a 15 minute walk to the tram, 40 minutes to town

I could go on forever, however I'll just annoy myself even more..

Needless to say we won't be back until the general manager changes and customers come first approach is adopted again.

I have just returned from a 10 day stay which was for my 50th birthday. The Doubletree Hilton in Kraków is the best hotel I have stay at in my life.

I received a warm, friendly welcome from the reception staff & a kind gift from the manager, Grzegorz Grabowski.

All of the staff were genuinely happy to interact with me and gave excellent customer service.
The standard of hygiene was exceptionally high & flawless. The restaurant, reception and cleaning staff were all polite and fun to speak to.
Efficient but equally happy to create a sense of fun and happiness.

The hotel is a credit to Hilton Hotels and I would recommend it to anyone as a first choice visiting Kraków.

I work in retail management and know how hard it is to get it right constantly and make it look effortless but they managed to do this.

There is a 5 min walk either way to two tram stops taking you to the centre in about 10 min. The reception staff will also book you a taxi which is very cheap (£20 to airport).

The local tour agencies offering local trips will collect you from here too.

I’m not sure as I never used the rail connections. However I know there are tram stops maybe a few mins walk but my advise is use Uber they are cheap and many around. The hotel itself is a little out of town but it’s very easy to get to

Hello, tram stop is very close to the hotel. From there you can take the tram which will take you in approx. 10 minutes close to the Jewish quarter. If you decide to use public transport, I recommend to install the Jakdojade App, which gives you the routes and schedules. With it you can also put money in a wallet, and check-in. Hotel itself is very nice, stayed there often, nice rooms, good staff, and excellent breakfast. The swimming pool in teh basement is also very nice.
