The road the hotel is on is very noisy even at 3am. The toilet in our room had a broken flush, The lamp on one side was broken and the plug socket hanging from the wall revealing all the wires. The breakfast was very poor. The room smelt of tobacco and was being covered up badly with a plug in....

This was my third stay at the Secret Garden Hostel, and they delivered as always. Good location, clean, nice rooms, very nice team, good breakfast, WI-FI. The only comment I have is to improve information flow between accounting and reception which would speed up the reservation process without muda (i.e. waste of time).

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of October and overall it was very pleasant. The instructions hostel world gave us were incorrect from Krakow airport we got a train to the station then walked as we could see no trams that went in the direction we needed. Staff were always very friendly. Free tea and coffee making...

I never saw any “secret garden” at this hostel, only a smoking area behind a gate that perhaps they were referring to. Krakow was sweltering hot in September and this hostel is not air conditioned. My room heated up to unbelievable temperatures during the day. You could barely stand to stay in there to change clothes. At night I opened...

We spent 3 nights at the hostel in September when the weather was a little cool. The indoor aircon is far too hot wherever one goes. The staff at the Hostel Reception are helpful. Our twin low, wooden beds were very squeaky and we barely moved as the noise was quite disturbing. They should invest in better quality beds/mattresses. The...

Great place to stay. Big rooms with bathroom, complète kitchen, generous breakfast included. It is situated near Kazimierz but a 15 minutes walk from Wawel Hill. Nice staff but not really à place to meet people. There is a milk bar (a real one) vers near.

The hostel arranged a transfer from the airport for 80 Zl, and was waiting for us when we landed. The Hostel was clean, very comfortable, great...

This hostel on skawinska 7 in Krakow should consider not dealing with studios and apartments in other adresses as well . But only rooms at the premisses skavinska 7. My experience is that you´re neglected, when not staying at the hostel and Whenever you have a complaint the reception will tell you they are a basic hostel. Even though you...

Very attentive and professional staff, clean and well-equipped rooms, good location. We had a double bedroom with our own bathroom and a balcony - for this price the conditions were really good, basically the best when it comes to hostels I've been to. Breakfast is very basic, but fresh and good.

This was an incredible find. A very private hostel with kitchenette, large bathroom and patio. It was a nice walk along the river to the castle into the old city. We discovered the open market, the weekend market and lots of great places to eat. We taxied back to the Secret Garden because we were tired. We would stay again.
