The apartment is in a good central location. Disappointing that they do not have onsite restaurant facilities. However there is an excellent cafe next door serving wonderful fresh food. Our room was pretty basic. The TV failed to work and when I reported it was told to flick through channels until I found something which I could not. I have never been abroad before and been unable to get an English speaking news channel. Our shower was too hot to use. We did report it and the receptionist came up to check. It did work temporarily but she said she would report it. On our last day I had to leave with shampoo still in my hair as did not wish to be scalded as the temperature would not turn down. When I reported it she just said well it worked the other day when I checked it and made me feel like I was lying!!! Could be really dangerous with a young child No need to book any transport from airport with them. The Trainline is on the airport site and trains run every 20 mins. Only 17 zlotti instead of the 120 via hotel getting a taxi Apart from 1 the receptionists were not the most welcoming. Will definitely not return here I rarely write a bad review but feel it is warranted on this occasion

We had a lovely family stay at Platinia, the quadruple room had lots of space for us all and was very comfortable and modern . Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and breakfast was lovely with lots of different options including a cooked breakfast on request eggs, bacon etc. We will definitely be booking this hotel for our next visit for the perfect location , overall we had a great experience.

Exceptionally clean and modern hotel room in the heart of Krakow. Fifteen minute walk to all major attractions and Wonderful restaurants! 24 hour reception with kind staff. Breakfast was wonderful with a slightly different assortment each day. In addition to a fine buffet, eggs and meat of your choice is freshly made for you upon request. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Platinia Apartments was excellent! The staff was very accommodating with date changes due to COVID-19, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast with many choices - omelettes made to order, naleśniki (crêpes filled with sweet cheese), mini waffles, cold cuts, cheese, and bread, pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice. Quiet and convenient location - just a few mins walk from the Old Town's main square and from the Kazimierz district, and about a 15-20 min walk from the train station. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Arrived late at night and was greeted by friendly receptionist. we were travelling as 2 couples and had rooms next to each other. Rooms were spotless and well maintained. The breakfast next morning far outweighed our expectations. There was a good choice of cold food and hot food could be ordered. The staff were really welcoming and would definitely stay here again. They arranged the taxi to and from the airport at a reasonable cost and booked our trips before our arrival. For value for money this hotel cant be beaten

Overall, my partner and I found our stay to be reasonable during our 3-night getaway. Firstly, the hotel was perfect for us with regards to location. We were on a city break and wanted to be close enough to everything in order to get the most out of our stay - but, we also wanted to be far enough away from the hustle and bustle to try and get some decent rest in between our trips/excursions. The location is perfect for anyone wanting the same! The walk to the main square taking around 5 minutes, and the walk to the train station taking around 10/15 minutes. Further to this, the staff at the hotel were pleasant and very helpful. We experienced three staff during our short stay, and each of them were very helpful and would do their very best to help with any queries we had - nothing was ever too much! Despite this, there were a couple of minor downsides to our visit which impacted our overall rating! The beds were extremely uncomfortable (just our taste). So much so that it impacted the quality of our stay and experience of Krakow as a whole. We had a very hectic trip planned, and the beds did not allow us to catch up on much needed rest in between these busy days. The beds were extremely hard, and we felt every movement during the night! Also, there was a lot of noise during our stay. Initially, there was a lot of building work going off in the hotel, as well as us sharing a floor with some noisy travellers - the walls were very thin and you heard every noise. Another complaint was our cleaner. Whilst the room was clean and kept to a good standard, we did borrow some hotel appliances on the first day, which never got removed. Finally, the rooms were very small and did not allow much room for manoeuvre, especially with the few bits of furniture that were in the room; this was also compounded when we had a fridge which did not work. Overall, great location and staff, but poor comfort!

Oh my goodness, I can’t write enough about this hotel!! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, there wasn’t anything that was too much trouble, brought my husband for his birthday, we booked a trip through the hotel, they made us a traditional birthday breakfast and allowed us to check out late all at no extra cost- the trip of course was, but it was Auschwitz 😢, location is very central, the rooms were spacious and modern, powerful shower and very clean. Thank you soooo much, you made us very happy!!

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Platinia. We had rooms 34 and 35 on the top floor which would not be suitable for people with mobility problems as there is no lift. Whilst the rooms were quite small they were adequate for our needs as we were out all day. Very clean throughout, and good, powerful shower, hot shower. Didn't have daily water bottles or any milk as part of the beverages so bought a large bottle of water from Carrefour store a few doors away. Breakfast was enjoyable, with good options of continental, freshly cooked egg dishes, and lovely hot'real' porridge with raisins!! This is served from 7-11am. We were due to be picked up for the airport at 7.15am but were allowed to go into breakfast room for tea and toast at 6.45 am Nadia on reception was a delight and very helpful. We locked our valuables in the safe in reception for free. Good location with easy access to the Main Square and Jewish Quarter. So much to see and do so would recommend this B&B.

Good points- very clean, large rooms, nice breakfast, near to old town and Jewish quarter, 24hr manned reception. Bad points - Impossible for taxi to stop nearby, chamber maid didn't replace toiletries after first day or tea/coffee, in fact I couldn't really tell she'd been in. No lift. The courtyard amplifies sound so the noisy Polish couple with two little girls that sat outside talking loudly till 11.30pm were not appreciated!

Arrived after midnight but there is a buzzer on gate the receptionist lets you in to a pretty courtyard & airconditioned reception. Its 20 odd degrees outside. We were in room 35 the top floor up 60 steps no lifts. The room is very top corner, very small but modern & clean decoration. It was one of few that appeared to have sun on it all day. It was red hot with all the windows open, hotel had left a floor standing fan in room, no aircon. There was a mini fridge housed in a cupboard, which was so hot we had to leave cupboard door open to cool it down, no use as a fridge inside fridge was hot as well. Breakfast was good and varied but not the hotel to visit in summer months in room 34 or 35.
