Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely hotel, clean, excellent rooms. Great choice for breakfast though I would like some pastries as an option but there's a bakery about a 5 minute walk away. It's really close to the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. Great transport links. The staff are all really friendly and helpful from what we experienced. I think its excellent value for money.

This hotel is so calm. The staff are great. The breakfast is really decent. We didn’t have a complaint about anything. There are trams and you can hear them so we brought ear plugs so it didn’t bother us. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the Old Town but we walked there each day. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms a decent size even for two sisters sharing.

Friendly helpful staff & check in was quick and simple . Rooms cleaned every day , beds were comfortable we had a back room so didn’t get much noise from the trams earlier morning. Good choice at breakfast , continental , cereals , fruit ,plus bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs which were delicious. Not far from Jewish Quarter . Visited Auschwitz and Salt mines. Overall a great stay and would recommend hotel as it’s in an ideal position for old and new town. We organised our own trips but hotel staff are happy to arrange this for you .

We arrived at approx 3.30pm on a Friday in March 2024. Check in was really quick and we were given room 31. Right next to the lift! However it wasn't noisy, the other rooms carried more noise than the lifts! Room was clean and cleaned daily. The bathroom was big enough with a great shower but no bath. Towels were included and changed daily. One downside is the trams outside if you get a front street room (as number 31 was) - they are very noisy and woke me up at 5am every morning. Breakfast isn't bad but it's not very good either. The hot plate was streaky euro bacon, crap euro sausages and scrambled egg. There was a meat platter and cheeses with a little veggie tray. Also yoghurts, fruit and a few cakes. Four cereals and the smallest. slowest two bread toaster in the world topped a disappointing breakfast offering. Hotel bar is available but no residents were ever in it and it's just the hotel staff serving from the breakfast room anyway. Situated 20 mins walk from Schindler's factory, 20 mins walk from the old square & Wawel Castle and 10 mins from the Jewish quarter the hotel is set in an ideal location for exploring. Cost us £250 for 3 nights B&B which we thought was decent value.

Travelled Mon-Thurs with my dad. Auschwitz being main reason for our visit (must see and don't be too put off by an early pickup it gets busy busy!) Great location this hotel, middle of everything really, 8 mins down main road to square, couple of mins other way to Jewish square, old town around 10 mins, walk past Jewish quarter, Google maps has you. Breakfast good, not a great hot selection, but a plentiful selection of continental. Rooms nice, old fashioned decor but it ties in with the city. Warm in room jeez can't fault that. Oh nearly forgot, if you are going Auschwitz and early pickup so miss breakfast, ask for a packed lunch because it was really good! Can't fault this place, thank you Colombus and Krakow!

Really good stay. Great location in jewish quarter, close to old town and walkable to railway station. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and nice strong coffee. The rooms are good size and the bed was really comfy. Would definitely stay again, the only thing i dont get is the 3 star rating, i think it should be more.
