Just come back from staying here. Brilliant location (literally 2mins from the main square), friendly staff and a beautiful apartment.
I’ve given 4stars mainly because there is no lift. I know it’s petty but to be honest, I’m a young person who does enjoy walking and I found it a killer walking up to the third floor in block B. My friend the same but that aside I would go back but for people with mobility issues, I suggest booking direct with the staff and request an apartment on the ground floor or (as I was told and read here) in block A as that had a lift. Buildings are beautiful in Krakow but some are old so a lot probably don’t have lifts. I liked the idea of the reception having WhatsApp so you can contact them via the app if you need them.
Breakfast was included for us. Basic but nice. Did the job for us. Toiletries in the apartment, soap, fridge, toaster, kettle (with coffee, tea & sugars) washing machine, dishwasher, TV, ironing board & iron, comfy sofa and beds. Lots of space for clothes etc and a safe. Very clean. Shop next door to buy bits of food/drink. Enjoyed our stay.

Value for money we booked through easyJet , great location walkable to main square which is 2 minutes away, close to shops , bars and restaurants and an easy walk to the train station and tram stops too.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and decorated tastefully .
Would come back and recommend.

My partner and I have just returned from a fabulous long weekend in Krakow.
This was our 1st time visiting & we weren’t disappointed!

Firstly the accommodation;
Excellent location for all bars and restaurants in the old town plus just a few minutes walk from the tram line.
No noisy bars in earshot either.

Check-in was nice & easy with extra pillows given within minutes.

Our apartment was on the top floor which is 6 flights up…. Not for the faint hearted, even for someone who does the stair climber in the gym.
If you have mobility issues then it is a must you enquire about lower floor apartment before booking.

Breakfast was in the restaurant below which was lush.

Would I stay here again… yes!

However, hoteliers please change the mattress is room B53 as one was dipped with the other one absolutely… made my partner and I feel that we were not in the same bed.

Fresh towels & additional coffee etc is only upon request- so use the what’s app number provided as they will respond immediately.

We visited Auschwitz, Schindlers Factor/Jewish Quarter & Zakoplane all definitely worth it.

Stayed at these apartments from 15th – 18th February in room A42. The apartment was spot on, modern and clean and all of the facilities that you might need such as functional kitchen including dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. The bathroom was amazing as you will see from the pictures, and the living area bright and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. I had asked for a specific apartment when I booked, and I got exactly what I asked for, so thank you. Also thank you for leaving chocolates and a card for the birthday girl, what a lovely thought. The apartments are perfectly located less than a 5 mins walk from the main square so you are handy for all of the bars and restaurants, and the shopping centre is approximately a 10 min walk away. Check in was quick and easy, as was checking out.

Stayed here for 5 nights and booked via TUI.

This was a perfect location to visit Krakow we stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a traveling party of three. The rooms could sleep 6 in total lounge and kitchen area with convertible sofa, dining table and chairs, Kettle, combo oven/microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and a washer. So it was very well equipped.

The amazing plus points:
The rooms were lovely and the beds / pillows were very comfortable
Stylish finishes and ample wardrobe space /safe included
Great bathroom with a lovely shower and we always had hot water
Staff very friendly
Breakfast - you really need to the breakfast included option which is served at Scandale Royal. Superb selection of dishes we loved the Smashed Avocado and the service was impeccable. Inside and outside dining space.
Check in was easy and left luggage secure storage available if needed.

Some things to consider:
There was no lift to our room which was not a problem for us but this could be an issue for guests with reduced mobility. Check available options with them before you book.
Quite noisy at times during the night and very early morning based on the bin storage area in the internal courtyard and other guests rolling in after a night on the town. If you sleep with the windows open its probably better take some ear plugs

Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the location
Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable

The location is Amazing literally 2 minutes flat walk to square and attractions loads of restaurants bakery’s and supermarkets in the area very quiet safe and secure. The apartments are huge we had a two bedroom and it was warm spacious with very comfy beds lovely bathroom and lounge with kitchenette with dishwasher microwave and fridge no lifts but this wasn’t a problem . We looked out over the courtyard which was nice and reception staff were all friendly and helpful just outside the apartments is a fab bakery great restaurant and well stocked supermarket with a taxi rank also outside very convenient. The only reason I haven’t given 5* is we had to ask reception for towels and toilet roll as in 6 days no one came in to the apartment once , I understand if it’s two or three nights without a visit but the tiled bathroom floor needed mopping and supplies topped up and bins emptied even once would of helped also there was a slight issue with being charged twice for mini bar items which was eventually rectified

Dear Guest, thank you for taking your time to write the review - it is valuable feedback for us and helps to correct our services, as we want our guests to have 5 star stay every time. Due to covid we have had to adjust our cleaning procedures and for that reason you should have been notified upon check-in that we will change your towels each time upon request and for longer stays there should be a date agreed with the guest for us to do cleaning during their stay - as you have said - it is necessary to mop the floor etc (of course unless the guest does not want us to). I can see that we have failed short in that area and I am sorry for that. We will retrain the staff to make sure they always fully inform our guest. I am glad overall you have had a nice stay - will be great to see you again visiting Kraków and staying at Antique Apartments.

Stayed here over New Year with my husband, along with four other couples. The apartments are ideally location just a couple of minutes from the main square - ideal for site seeing Krakow.

Out of the 5 couple i think we got the short straw as all of their apartments were large, spacious, with full kitchen facilities and with lift access. However, our apartment was on the 4th floor, without a lift. I have MS so i knew that i would struggle, however my husband who is reasonably fit struggled with the climb too. Our room was very small with two single beds a desk, a small wardrobe and basic kitchen facilities. The bathroom was also very small. We did ask to change but unfortunately it was fully booked. We managed as we were out basically all day and just went back on an evening so we made do. I would stay here again because of the location but would ask for a room with lift access most definitely.

I would say that all my friends couldnt fault their rooms and were more than happy. I saw a photo of one of their bathrooms and it was bigger than our who apartment.

Antique Apartments Review

As part of the package holiday booking we got a transfer from the airport, it took 30 minutes to get to the hotel, was very straight forward.Arrived at the hotel at 12pm on Sunday afternoon.

At check in they required a 300 zloty safety deposit by credit card which was unexpected. There are 3 blocks all round one central courtyard. We got told we were in block C room 51, we thought okay no problem. However it turns out this was up 130 stairs, 26 steps between each floor which was very hard going. Only block A has a lift.

The room was on the top floor and the roof was slanted which was very dangerous as it was the main walkway to the beds and one of the balconies. The room itself was lovely, 2 single beds, TV, kitchen and appliances, bathroom and balconies etc.

There was a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, utensils, bowls/plates and cutlery. There was also a mini bar in the fridge which was chargeable. Towels were wrapped in plastic, shower gel and soap were provided, sanitary bags in bathroom, hairdryer was very powerful. The shower was well sealed and could control water temperatures very easily and also the shower hose could be brought off it's stand.

Monday afternoon we paid to upgrade to a 1 bed apartment in block A room 1. This was very impressive. The rooms were huge, it even had standalone bath in the bathroom aswell.

Would definitely recommend the one bedroom apartment. The hotel was in a great location too. We were here for 4 nights.

I've not written a review for a few years but feel I need to regarding the Antique Apartments.

From the 1st minute of arrival the receptionist was so welcoming. She gave us a selection of great places to eat on a map which was really helpful.

We stayed in apartment C12 which overlooks the courtyard, the apartment had everything you need, quite basic but clean and the beds were very comfortable.

I'd also like to say the shower pressure was one of the best showers I've used in any hotel.

The location is 10 out of 10 to, it takes about 2 minutes to walk to the main square, where all the restaurants and bars are.

We will definitely be back in the Spring !

Would highly recommend the Salt Mines tour too.

If you've booked here you'll have a lovely time.
