This is a great place to come to rest! The rooms are very comfortable, good quality beds and very quiet. The service is very friendly and the food is really lovely. We had dinner here twice with a party of six and we all enjoyed the food. The highlight of this place is off-course the pool and spa area!

Although the old furniture and decor of the original castle Stonsdorf has all disappeared after the war, the original architecture and, above all, the historic trees in the wonderful park surrounding the castle are breathing the spirit of history and of it's original owners. The new owners have created a positive and warm atmosphere without taking away or destroying the...

We were looking to augment our time in Prague and the Czech Republic with a side excursion to Poland and couldn't have chosen more wisely than the Palac Hotel Staniszow. The hotel has been thoroughly renovated and modernized since its days as a palace for an aristocratic family but -- and this is meant as a high compliment -- just...

We spent 6 days in the area however we were not guests of the Palace (we stayed at the beautiful Villa Nova). However we spent a perfect afternoon at Staniszow exploring the beautiful Palace (Restaurant/Cafe), the grounds and the Spa. The Spa is stunning, set aside from the Palace but in a complementary barn-style building - it is stylish, luxurious...

The place is located in a charming and quiet location surrounded by hills, forests and meadows at the far end of the Staniszow village. The accommodation is comfortable but quite basic. We enjoyed the ability to admire original layout of rooms of this former aristocratic residence. Although the current finishes offered in the rooms are far from the original, it...

In reply to a rant posted earlier: yes, there is a dog. But it's a very peaceful old chap and mainly spent the days lying outside the front door. And yes, the plumbing is a little on the iffy side, but that's part of staying at a real old manor, as opposed to a fake one. Remember how they're always...

It can't be much better. Everything works, the room is great, the hotel restaurant and bar is open most of the time, the meals are excellent, locations are beautiful furnished, the garden is scattered with flowers and the surrounding park is like an arboretum. Most impressive; the hotel proprietor has managed to incorporate a modern swimming hall without colliding with...

We were so satisfied with our stay in this hotel and we decided to order an extra night. Oasis of peace with a big park, very nice swimming pool (20 m) and great restaurant. Swimming pool was fantastic during hot summer days (37 degrees !) and open terrace is extremely comfortable. Good place to relax, take a nap outside in...

This is a beautiful palace, great park, with great quality food in the evening (we ate there 3 evenings), but...we (family with 2 kids) stayed here for 3 days and started to get increasingly frustrated with the lack of quality. We raised a number of issues with the Palace and asked them to address those, but got no adequate response....

What a great hotel. The restaurant is really good like a 4* service. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The spa had a nice variety of massages and facials with a beautiful indoor pool and jacuzzi to enjoy indoors. The hotel is also nestled against the forest with a nice set if paths to walk along. Our only minus...
