This was my second visit to this hotel. I was tempted to go elsewhere as I like to have a swimming pool in the hotel but when I remembered the wonderful way they had treated me during my last stay, I knew I had to come back. It's also just round the corner from Easy Waxing where you can get a really quick and efficient bikini wax!

Before arriving I was in touch with the hotel about a few things and both Maja and Alexsandra from Guest Relations got back to me promptly and made me feel like a valued guest before I even arrived and this really made a difference to my overall experience.

I took a taxi from the airport and was surprised to find 80 PLN on the meter when it should have been about 50 PLN so I advise using the hotel taxi service which is 65 PLN so you don't get ripped off. To go around town it's about 20-30 PLN depending on the distance but you can easily walk to the old town centre.

I checked in with Przemek and when he told me that as a gold Accor member I'd been upgraded from a Prestige Suite to their Opera Suite, I was jumping for joy. When I got to my huge suite, I actually gasped when I saw the separate boardroom and was jumping up and down again when I saw the bouquet of flowers on the coffee table in the huge living room along with a whole box of delicious fudge made by the hotel's pastry chef Agata Grodwka who really should start her own business.

I had planned to have dinner in the hotel restaurant Pan Tadeusz but unfortunately it was closed due to the coronavirus and lack of guests. There were only 3 other people in the hotel and the streets and shopping centres were almost deserted. I went to the bar which I had entirely to myself. As a gold member I had received a voucher for a free drink and the barman Dominik, who remembered me from my previous visit, made me a delicious vodka and raspberry cocktail.

After that I went to the small lobby restaurant for dinner. There was only one other person there so I felt a bit lonely but I was served very nicely by Wojtek. The menu was a bit limited but I had foie gras then an excellent club sandwich with chips.

I barely had time to digest my dinner when the hotel informed me that Poland was closing the borders at midnight the following day along with all shops and restaurants including those in hotels except for room service.

On the Saturday I managed to get a train to Dresden in Germany with hundreds of other foreigners trying to get out of Poland so I had to cancel the rest of my stay and the hotel very kindly reimbursed me for the remainder of my stay which I really appreciated.

Once again, Sofitel is the best!

My Fiancée and I stayed here for our birthdays.
We got an upgraded room with a cute towel animal made on the bed with a party hat on and there was a bottle of prosecco chilling in the room when we got there which was really lovely of the hotel. The bed was so comfortable and we loved the Sauna and Jacuzzi. The hotel was in the perfect position for all the attractions of the old town.
On my partners actual birthday there was a knock on the hotel room door and they had made him a cake which was such a lovely thoughtful touch and it really made his birthday.
The cake was delicious so big thumbs up to the chef.

Thanks so much Sofitel for making our stay in Wroclaw extra special.

This hotel deserves its 5* status. The rooms have every modern comfort you could need. We forgot our plug adapter and reception had a basketful to borrow one. The staff can’t do enough for you. We stayed in a junior suite which was amazing but our friends rooms were lovely too. Wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have breakfast as we didn’t book it when we booked the hotel and it was expensive to add on when checking in, so beware. The hotel is 2 mins walk to the main square so fantastic location. My only negative comment is that we stayed Friday and Saturday night with a street facing room and it was noisy but that isn’t the hotels fault. I’d recommend taking earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

Hotel is well located, only yards from the square.
It’s clean and rooms are comfortable, if a little too warm & hard to cool down even with A/C.
City view rooms are noisy, particularly at night, especially if windows need to be left open to cool the room.
Bathrooms have separate shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower, hand wash & body lotion by the sink 👍🏻Staff are helpful & friendly. Breakfast is good.
A 5 star hotel it is not.

The first impression of the hotel was that there was a strong unpleasant smell in the whole of the reception and foyer area for our entire 3 day stay which seemed to smell of dirty drains. No attempt was made to mask the smell by the hotel Reception staff seemed quite stern and not smiling but were efficient. Our room was of a good size but the decor was very plain and dated. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom sparkling clean and our room was cleaned daily. There was an impressive wide screen smart TV with very limited channels but we were puzzled by the hotel channel that had a video guide to Wroclaw but when we played the presentation it was of Olso in Norway! There was a well stocked mini bar but no bottle opener anywhere in the room. There was tea and coffee sachets but no milk. We asked housekeeping for some milk but were told it had to be requested at reception. Reception told us that they do not supply milk and had to ask in the restaurant who offered us a tea cup of milk to put in our mini bar - 5 Star service???? The best feature of the hotel was the location right on the doorstep of the old town sights, however expect some bar noise, car alarms etc.. There is an independent 24hr small grocery shop in the building at street level which was handy. Our stay was just OK but would not rate it 5 stars

Stayed three nights in February 2020. Upon arrival we asked that the aircon be checked as we could not adjust the temperature, we found not only our room but the whole hotel to be far too hot and stuffy. Opening the window made zero difference to the room temperature as our room overlooked the covered inner courtyard. Bed super comfortable and bathroom well equipped. Payment was taken three times in error and whilst this was rectified by the hotel it is not really something that should happen.

I stayed here for 3 nights and can't fault the place.
The staff were friendly and understood me perfectly despite my strong Geordie accent! The bar and restaurant looked great although I didn't get the chance to eat there myself.
The spa was lovely and really was the perfect welcome after a long day of exploring however my only criticism about the hotel lies in this area. They can only book 4 people in per hour and this rule wasnt followed on one of the occasions I used it, meaning that myself and two other guests were unable to use the facilities we wanted due to other guests staying beyond their time slot and not being asked to leave, although the staff in the spa may not have been aware they were still in there.
My room was immaculate throughout the whole stay and was very quiet even though my room overlooked a couple of bars outside. The minibar was re-stocked daily and the complimentary bottles of water were a godsend and very much appreciated.
I will definitely stay again every time I visit Wroclaw.

This hotel is in a great location close to amenities and the Rynek. Lots to do and handy for most local walk tours.

The hotel is under renovation which caused slight inconvenience due to noise and dust but overall wasn’t too bad.

The room was average, it was clean and the bed was comfortable, although another pillow would have been better. Despite asking for our room to be cleaned daily this did not happen, only 1 day out of 4 was our room “cleaned”. By this I mean bed made, not changed and the bin emptied.

The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. They assisted us to book airport transfer when leaving however I would suggest booking this out with as it’s considerably more expensive booking through the hotel. We were charged 95 polish złoty and if we had used a bolt taxi would have been 40/45. Our mistake.

We ordered room service on 2 occasions. The first time the order was wrong despite being phoned to check our order and clarifying we still received the totally wrong order. We let this go the first time. The 2 time we decided to order at the bar to prevent any confusion. The food is pretty awful and over priced for what it is. I wouldn’t recommend eating it the hotel.

Overall the hotel was nice but I wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed in Sofitel Wroclaw for 2 nights in July, and found the room and the building very good. We had a room facing the street, but I think rooms viewing the inner courtyard must be the same, as we could only see the building in front of the street from our window. Breakfast buffet was very good, but sometimes they didn't replace the meals so quick as desire. Location in the middle of old town, excellent. All in all a good experience.

A group of 10 of us stayed here for a birthday weekend.
The hotel was good, clean and modern and seemed quiet. The staff were friendly. The bedrooms were a good size, with a huge comfy bed. Some of my group complained that the air con was not working and that the water was always cold, but I had no problems.
It's a great location for the town square being a short walk away, however there are a number of late bars near the hotel, so depending which room you have can make it noisy if you have the window open.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choices.
Bar staff was friendly although it was expensive for Poland. The bars close by were a lot cheaper.
There were lots of people around the outside of the hotel at night due to its location to the square, other bars and shops and although that didnt bother us, i could imagine this could be intimidating for certain travellers.
I would have no problems booking again for this hotel as its location is its main plus point.
