It was a very good stay. It was located with a short walk from the station. The staffs was very kind and friendly. They helped us to travel to different locations. The breakfast was very good and continental food. We stayed their for only 2 days.

My second stay in Scandic Wrocław after couple of month. Feeling like back home. Although many things has changed. Bar still closed - safety reasons, breakfast already in buffet form but served by personnel, you are being seated at the pre-booked table - feeling safe. Ingeneral very good place for staying during necessary business trip.

Very decent hotel. The rooms are not huge but have all the amenities needed. The location is super convenient if you are travelling via the train as the train station is few minutes away and the city center is also close by. The only small issue was lack of conditioner in the bathroom but there are shops close by so no disaster occurred. The reception was friendly and accommodating as well

We stayed two nights, and we were very disappointed by our stay.
The first red flag was that the staff at the front desk all had their masks tucked under their chins. During our stay this was constant, with staff either having their masks under their chin or under their nose. They were more interested in talking to each other than guests. Equally concerning was guests pushing into lifts and not wearing masks.
The first room hadn’t been renovated and the room was awful with dated, budget decor and the mattress sunk to bed base as soon as you sat on it. We immediately returned to Reception and paid for an upgrade. The renovated room initially was good as the fixtures and fittings appeared more modern. Unfortunately it was obvious that the renovation hadn’t been done well; as an example, the vinyl wrapping of the door had a large section missing where a door handle had been moved. The cleaning regime was very poor; sticky, dirty floors, loose hairs in the bathroom, and dust on the surfaces. We accept that there isn’t any room cleaning during guest stays, but you expect a high level of cleaning between guests - we don’t believe there was any cleaning done prior to our stay apart from a linen change.
There was a lot of noise from the road including the trams.
We wouldn’t stay here again, and feel there are better options in Wrocław in this price bracket.

Hotel 5 of 6 on my eurotrip

The welcome at reception was average at best, nothing really wrong but nothing special either.

The biggest issue I had with this hotel and what seems to be a common occurrence with a lot of hotels these days is the lack of servicing rooms for the duration of your stay for "the environments sake". I'm sorry but I'd rent an apartment if I wanted to have to make up my own bed and deal with my rubbish everyday.

Part of the whole hotel experience is having fresh towels and your bed made up, you shouldn't need to ask at reception if you require it.

The room itself was fine. I stayed in a superior room on the 6th floor which had a lovely balcony which was not accessible but I could look out at it and admire it. The room had all the basics plus a trouser press, iron, safe tea coffee etc and a fridge with water which you can replenish yourself at reception. Bathroom was nice with a bath and separate powerful shower plus a timed heater.

Breakfast was tasty and to be honest the choice was excellent and the staff worked hard to welcome guests and keep everything in order at the same time.

Location wise it's not bad, a decent walk from Wroclaw glowny and the same again to Rynek.

I had dinner one night in "Stockholm" and the chicken salad was great but the ribeye was seriously fatty and not good. There really isn't any other options around the area for late night eats except for kebabs so I think the hotel is really missing a trick here by not staying open later and having more variety on the menu.

Overall it was fine but the lack of servicing the rooms means it shouldn't class itself as a hotel anymore but more of an aparthotel with benefits.

And yes the building work that was mentioned in previous reviews is still going on!

TThe hotel has a very good location, close to the Wrocław Old Town. The room was large and comfortable, equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Although my room's window faced the street with trams running through it. The noises were audible despite the acoustically quite good windows. The corridor is well soundproofed by a soft floor covering. Very good breakfasts, large selection from the buffet. Very helpful staff. An inconvenience is the location of the hotel in a paid parking zone. Hotel parking is also paid, and an hour is also more expensive than in street parking

The Scandic Wroclaw Hotel is a nice City Hotel. You can reach it easily by food or train from the central station. There is also a parking space at the hotel court yard. It is well located in the south of the old city center but you can reach by food the old citiy center. The hotel offers different types of rooms. Depending on the category they are design in the nordic style. The breakfast is fantastic!

I stayed 6 nights in the Scandic Wroclaw with my partner. Our daughter booked the trip. We had hoped for an upgrade but were happy enough with our standard room. We were in a nice quite part of the hotel on the 2nd floor. The breakfasts are of a particularly high standard with so much choice of tasty dishes. We also ate in the restauarnt twice and the food was cooked to a very high standard. Not much choice but what you get served is of good quality. I think the reception staff could receive more training on more friendly and helpful customer service e.g. we wanted to eat out one evening and they didn't really give us much help. We'd had a long day walking and were very tired and the hotel restaurant was closed. It was a wet evening and we had to trudge about trying to find somewhere. Fortunately we finally found Culto but with a bit of traning they could have been much more helpful to us foreigners.

The hotel was nice and clean. We stayed in the junior suite, which was big and comfortable room for family of 3. It is situated with a short walk (less then 10 min) from old city and very close to train station. Even though it is located in a busy road, its nice and quiet inside. Breakfast was amazing, many things to choose from. Would stay there again if we come back to Wroclaw.

The situation is good. In Spain it would be a 2-3 stars hotel. The make you sign a paper with civid rules that they are not compliant with. Most of people don't wear mask inside, even sometimes the staff. The room is ok but for a cheaper hotel. Too noisy.
