Just stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in Torun. What a lovely place. The room was a lot bigger that we expected with a balcony and a large corner bath with a storage toilet. Couldn't hear a thing at night... So quiet. Buffet style breakfast in a lovely Dining room the next morning. The staff were pleasant and friendly....

PROS: Very good location. Their breakfast was excellent, with varieties. Paid extra for 19 zl per person. Good value. The service staffs were nice and very efficiently. The fuse of light switch was blown, no power in my bedroom and bathroom. Their staff managed to fix it while we were having breakfast. Super! CONS: The noise from the floor and...

I stayed here for one night and I totally want to go back there for more time. The hotel is an old, but very well maintained place. It is in the very centre of Torun, walking distance to almost everything you might want to visit. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. Now, the total best thing: the...

Great location, nice staff and comfortable rooms. Definitely recommended :) We didn't try the breakfast, so no opinion about that. Torun is a great, beautiful town, so if you wish to stay in the heart of it this hotel will definitely satisfy you :)

Oldest hotel in town. It seems to be back in the 60's but it really works. Large double room with 2 armchair and a sofa, very clean. Breakfast was not included but for 19z we had a magnificent breakfast with a large range of sweet and sour food. Staff was good, maybe their English is not perfect but I highly...

The charm of the Pod Orlem has somehow survived through the years, the wars and people re-drawing the map of Central Europe. The old photos on the wall, from Prussian and German times, are real, not repro. It's a functional, unpretentious hotel, yet with one of the best breakfasts I have found anywhere in Europe. Located in the heart of...

This hotel is perfectly located at 100 meters from the heart of Torun. Quiet street, beautiful rooms with character and charm, and perfect breakfast for 5 euro per person. And staff is very helpful and friendly. If you look for a basecamp to visit the beautiful city, this is the place to be.

Pod Orłem is quite and old hotel (guides say it is the oldest). Parts of the old, XVI-th century wall are visible when walking down the corridors and staircase. Rooms are small, cozy and clean, one overlooks the street, the other overlooks the patio. The floor cracks under steps, there is an atmosphere :)
