I was staying in this hotel as a participant in an international conference. The hotel is out of town near warsaw airport. The facilities were not bad, but we felt the lack of a minibar. To go to the center of Warsaw you need to go by car. With a bus (outside of the hotel) it takes 30 minutes, with a taxi about 20 minutes. The rooms are small and clean. The breakfast buffet has a lot to offer, even hot dishes.

My father and I styayed here at the tail end of our trip to Poland in September 2005. The hotel restaurant was good, we had an excellant dinner. Breakfast the next day was also quite good. Unfortunately, we could not get the shower to work!! We we were so tired, as it was at the end of the trip, that we never bother to complain.

Based on my notes, I arrived at Dworzec Autobusowy Metro Wilanowska in Warsaw from Budapest on 07th October 2016 at around 21.00 with the Polski Bus.

There was no direct tram and bus to Gromada Airport Hotel from the bus station.

Furthermore, taxis and buses were not available at such hour.

There was a kiosk nearby which sold public transport ticket.

However, the kiosk attendant was not English conversant and so did most of the people who visited the kiosk.

After much praying, thankfully , a kind elderly gentleman visited the kiosk , later on.

He understood English and helped me to buy the 75-minute single ticket ( 4.40 PLN ) and a daily ticket ( 15 PLN ).

He also lead the way to the nearby train station which took around 10 minutes to walk
and then all of us boarded the train to the Warszawa Centralna railway station.

The kind gentleman then waited in the tram stop nearby the central station to make sure that I boarded the tram safely to the Gromada Airport Hotel. I saw him from the tram window returning back to the train station.

I arrived at the hotel at nearly 22.00. Since, I had not had any meal since lunch time, I went directly into the hotel restaurant which was nearly closed.

Thankfully, the kind restaurant manager allowed me to have dinner in the restaurant.

There were only a variety of soups available and I ordered them all , much to the restaurant manager's surprise and amusement.

The room was clean and the room key was still a typical one applied in the early 1980's.

There was a mini market in the hotel near the receptionist.

The tram trip from the hotel to Warszawa Centrum took around 10 - 15 minutes whereas the tram ride to the Frederic Chopin Airport took around 5 - 10 minutes.

Some of the receptionist were professional.

However, on my last day ( 09th October 2016 ) in the Polish capital city ,some of the senior ladies in the receptionist area were a bit impatient in replying some of my questions.

Well, I took it lightly, since I was finally had the opportunity to visit the country of Maria Sklodowska Curie, F. Chopin and Nicolaus Copernicus.

Overall, this hotel is suitable for budget traveller arriving by air in Warszawa and does not mind staying in a place which was a bit outdated.

The inside room was a disaster, looked like a student dormitory with two single beds - the same with the shower. You probably know the feeling when looking you are scared to sit down on the toilet:)))
Booked it through a Polish web site, was probably one of the few options left, as I booked it at 5:00pm and then went to the hotel at 6:00pm. Was crowded with some schoolchildren who were having party all night long.
Situated at the busy crossroads.
As I saw during breakfast, this is mainly used by the locals - the room prices are low indeed.
The airport hotels are usually similar - this one did not differ from economy inn near Copenhagen airport

Space in the room for one stay is sufficient. Hotel is not modern, looks like from the end of 90's. Staff is very polite and helpful. Room was clean, with fresh towels and cosmetics. Perfect localisation near Warsaw Chopin Airport. You get there by bus in 2-3 minutes.

We stayed here for 1 night after flying back to Chopin Airport on 21-22 June. The location is really great! We landed at 0.55, and at 1.20 we were already entering our room.

I should mention that there was no problem to get to the hotel by bus at all. We took bus 32 (it goes at night, at daytime bus 175 goes instead of 32), and it took us 5 minutes to get to the hotel building.

As for the stuff, they were really helpful and nice! (I haven't faced back-in-USSR-attitude at all, honestly!)

We've booked TWIN or DOUBLE room, and although we got to reception desk in the middle of the night, we were offered a cot for baby to be brought into our room. When I asked for a room with double bed instead of twin, there was no problem at all, and the manager gave us the room we asked for.

We asked about where to have breakfast, at what time, and he told us everything! We asked for Wi-Fi password, and it took the manager 30sec to print it and give it to us.

The furniture in our room was ok, the bathroom was modern. We had 2 teacups with teabags and a kettle in our room, as well as a bottle of mineral water.

Breakfast was tasty, the choice of meals was fine.

The room was very clean.

In our part of the building everything was quiet, no noise at all.

So if you want a basic and nice hotel to spend a night before or after your flight from Chopin Airport in Warsaw, then Gromada Airport hotel is definitely the right choice!

Good location, close to the airport (it took about 7-10 min to get to the airport on foot). We had an early flight, so it was very convenient for us to stay near the airport.
Very good English speaking reception and fast check in. The hotel is dated, but very clean. The twin economy room (and bathroom) was renovated and clean with WIFI, TV, complimentary water, (kettle) tea and coffee. There was no air-condition, but we had no problem: fresh cool weather after short rain in the evening (at the beginning of May) from the opened window was the best air-condition in the world for us. Good buffet breakfast for 20 PLN (cold meats, cereals, fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, fresh fruits, yoghurts, bread and rolls) also was a good start for the further trip (early flight) to our holiday destination. I will recommend this hotel to friends when they need to stay close to Warsaw Airport before an early flight. Therefore, I did not looked for another hotel this year and already booked the economy twin room for one night at the beginning of May this year, too.

We slept in new part and it was really excellent - bathroom without any lime, niece and clean room. The staff was really helpful and quick. We were allowed to stay an hour longer after the time of checking out. - for free. The only inconvenience - there were problems with WiFi and we had to use the wire Internet in the computer room.

I stayed here for 1 night because I had an early morning flight.

I arrived at the hotel and paid cash, however the man at the desk tried to short change me. After I complained I eventually got the correct change.
The hotel room was dark and dated. The room smelt badly of smoke (which I hate as I'm not a smoker). The beds are also poor.

The only positive part of the hotel is that it's a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport.

Warning: If you take a taxi from or to the airport from this hotel, ensure you have the correct change in coins. If you don't, it's likely that the taxi driver won't give you your change.

Hotel staff was not friendly. Room was big but in not to good condition, as also all of the hotel seems to need a refresh. Paid with credit card. The reservation procedure asked for a final reservation and at that time the credit card was charged. By checkout it was charged once more. Until today, after phonecalls and e-mails I did not get any answer or money returned.

They did not have it when I was there. Bus is a good option, stop is just next to hotel.

I am sure you can ask the reception staff to book a taxi for you. It is important to make sure they called a company that accepts credit cards. Not all of taxies have the terminal.

Hallo, i was there one month ago. They speak english, no italian. The currency is szloty but quite everywhere euros are accepted. Visa is welcome too. From airport to hotel you need a taxi, the hotel has no shuttle. No need to book taxi, it is plenty of them outside airport in dedicated area. Please have one piece of 5 euros in your pocket, it is enough for the taxi to hotel. Always keep some pieces of 5 or 10 euros, cause they accept euros but they do not have the rest if you pay with 50 euros. I have n idea where stadium is. have a look at google map and look for transport facilities. At the hotel ask for a room in the NEW BUILDING, THEM ARE BETTER!!! Restaurant ground floor is excellent! Enjoy the match! Cheers, Giovanni
