We spent one night at the hotel. It is a 4 star hotel but overall it should be a 3 star hotel. The room was ok, spacious, more or less clean enough. The hairdryer was not working, the heathing was low and they gave us separate electric fan heater. The restaurant was ok but a bit below the standard for... More

This is a lovely little family run hotel in a beautiful location, just a short walk from lake Bohinj with its many Watersports and mountain trails. The rooms are quite basic, but it's clean, and he staff were so friendly and helpful... Oh and I had the best massage of my life there. Seriously if you stay here, book yourself... More

The perfect balance between high-quality hotel-style amenities and a cozy, home feeling you get from the staff (family-owned hotel). The staff are hard working people who will not only do their job impeccably, but also do their best to fulfill any request you may have. Location is very good - not too far from the lake, but in a rather... More

Our room was nice and comfortable, although we did have to ask for a fan to counteract the heat. Breakfast was basic; I would have liked a bit more variety of fruit for example. My friend celebrated her birthday and we had cake at the restaurant. It was delicious. We also had dinner one night and both enjoyed it. Note... More

The Kristal offered us an enormous family room with two bedrooms and additional sofa bed and crib in the lounge. The only downside was the bathroom, which was rather cramped for four people and offered only a shower. The room had no air con, so it was a little hot in August but the balcony offered shade and breezes. The... More

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted in a friendly way and our bags were taken up to our room for us. We had booked a small eaves room but the lady who booked us in very kindly gave us a first floor larger room because the eaves room was very hot and the first floor room was slightly... More

Generally great place to stay. Down side is the rooms are more of hostel quality, but are functional. No air con, titchy balcony. Checking in was a bit like faulty towers, got checked in and then asked to redo it again. Not happy after walking 12 miles on a hot day. Also disappointed they had not taken cases up to... More

We stayed here after our walking trip finished at lake bohinj. It was a nice enough place to stay, not sure it truly is 4 stars however. The room was comfortable enough, no air conditioning, but it was cool when we stayed. The breakfast was definitely quite limited, and one morning a huge Bus tour was there and all the food... More

The hotel is family run and offers a very warm & friendly welcome. The hotel is in a quiet spot set back off the road - the lake is about a 10 minute walk away. Our bedroom was very clean & had a fridge. My only criticism would be that as we stayed during a heatwave, the room was stifling... More

We are first time here, and feel like we are guests for years. Excellent service and very good food, combination of traditional and international kitchen. Pretty big rooms, and quiet rooms, most with view into the pine forest. Wonderful surroundings Bohinj lake, walking distance. Good for all seasons
