An exceptional rating for a really exceptional hostel. The 4-bed loft dorm was tiny and could do with a couple of extra plugs but in all other respects the Celica is really in a class of its own. Comfortably furnished, extremely well-appointed and spotlessly clean with crisp white bed linen and an excellent in-house breakfast, the Celica is a fine...

Stayed here during Christmas holidays. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Hostel was clean and nice. Great food and drinks available at the bar, also cool events going on most evenings! Great for meeting other backpackers and quite central to the city and main bus and train station. I would highly recommend this hostel!

I was there during my Erasmus in Slovenia whenever we would come to the capital for some event. It's a great place to stay, meet people and to have fun! Near Metalkova which is an area where local artists get inspired and exhibit their art! It's located next to the city center (10 min walking) and the bedrooms are cozy...

Stayed here for a night, nice, clean, warm rooms, big selection of breakfast and daily bar available, interesting area in old prison. Friendly and helpful staff, made sure we knew all about Ljubljana.

Two friends and me came to that lovely hostel in Ljubljana. It is really close to the main train station and only approximately 10 minutes away from city centre. I really loved that place. The staff was friendly and always in a great mood. On new year's day we also partied in the hostel with the staff. It is the...

Spent two nights in this comfortable, cute and quirky hostel on a visit to Ljubljiana. A very cool concept which they have executed well with each room being slightly different. Beds were comfortable and rooms were relatively warm with heating (although extra blankets would have been great!). Loved the breakfast variety and staff were friendly. Overall a great place to...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a brilliant tour (self drive) of Slovenia. The "room" was a small prison cell with bunk type beds. We enjoyed the experience very much. The cell was clean, as were the shared showers, toilets, etc. This isn't a luxury hotel but a hostel with a difference. Ljubijana is an excellent city with...

This was by far the coolest hostel I have stayed at. Local artists stopped the prison from being torn down and designed the prison cells so each cell is unique. Cells hold 2-3 people so you can have a private room. Breakfast was decent but free and it was very easy to walk to the city center.

Such a cool concept. It's a prison layout but the rooms are quite specious. I'm not really a fan of hostels because of the whole shared bathroom concept. With this one however, it's very clean and ample. The showers are in separate cubicles and all have locks. The men's bathroom and shower room is separate. The staff are incredible welcoming...
