We wanted to be in this area. I had stayed in other holiday apartments run by a different company within the same block, but these actually provided a proper balcony (room 417). The location is perfect. Shame the Old Man's Music Bar opposite has closed down, but there are plenty more options nearby. The bar downstairs wasn't open passed 1am,...

Akacfa Holiday Apartments it's a nice apartment in the centre of Jewish area, that is the heart of Budapest, especially for night life. Apartment was spacious for 2 people, with a kitchen, fridge, sofa, table and a nice balcony. We enjoyed breakfast outside. Supplies for kitchen were just enough, maybe having some harness more would have helper in preparation. As...

The apartments are placed in the Jewish District near Blaha Lujza tér, where you find Metro and trams Tram and 4 and 6 brings you down to the river, where you can change to tram 2, which brings you downtown. So according to transportation and getting around it is the ideal location to stay. The apartments are big with a...

Ve booked apartment for three night in September, but didnt expect that we could get such a nice apartment. We are a couple and there was really everything what you need. Place is big enough and equipment is fine. We could recommend this place to stay in and hope we will be able to come back!

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights and loved this place. We felt very much at home here. The lady at reception was so nice and the customer service was superb. The room looked exactly like it did in the photos and was very clean. If I were to say one or two things that I thought weren't ideal...

We were 7 (single) parents with total of 11 kids in 5 apartments. It was very suitable for us and good value for money. Small disadvantage was the cold corridor due to architectural solution without glass on windows next to stairs.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
