Stayed here for four nights. Location walking distance of everything and easy to find way back to. Hostel staff really helpful with directions, transport, events and make you cups of tea etc. Rooms are more equipped than any other hostel I've seen with kitchen in each dorm. Cinema facilities great. Sociable smoking area. Perfectly clean. And just what any traveller... More

It was a beautiful and cheap hostel. The building is old but inside the decoration is very nice. It is perfect choice for young people because there is a cinema room inside, common kitchen, free coffee and tea and free wifi. It is in the city centre and very close to the bridge, so you don't have to use public... More

Travelled in a group of 7. Upon arrival we were told we would instead be staying in an apartment a short distance away. The apartment turned out to be in a better location along the long street, Kiraly Utca. The apartment included a spacious 5 bed room, lounge area, bathroom and kitchen. Everything is within walking distance and the property... More

You have to pay in cash which is suspicious and there is no AC, no towels, no blankets, and smells bad. Really expensive for how bad it is. Everything is very cheap and not good. Do no go here. The only thing you get is a mattress and a place to leave your bag. Literally that is it.

I travelled with a friend and we both loved our stay at 11th Hour. The location was great, walking distance from most sights. The rooms themselves were very spacious. We paid for a 10 bed dorm but ended up in a 6 bed dorm with an adjoining private room. Our room also had a kitchen and full bathroom (including bath!)... More

Very nice for a hostel. I shared a suite with people I knew and they cleaned it everyday. There were no fans or AC in the rooms, but the front desk lone out fans and other items to you if need be. It's in a prime location right near a metro stop, so getting around was really easy, but you... More

Very kind, warm hearted staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere in here. Location is perfect, everything's nearby. The dorms are just like so many other hostel dorms but quit clean. We were more... It was a great place, very warm and welcoming with the best staff. If you have the chance to meet Mike and Erick, you'll be in great hands. Free tea and coffee and the perfect place to meet other travelers. You definitely don't have to worry about the noise or social coldness of your typical party hostels .

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
