The host Sandor went over and above the call of duty to attend to his lodgers. He picked me/dropped me off at the railway station. He helped me by giving me the best advice about trains in Europe; about the best way to get around Budapest; the places to see and go to; thermal baths for my bones etc. Have...

The landlord of the hostel, Sandor, is very helpful and friendly and spent a lot of time telling us about all the main attractions even though we had arrived late at night. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are travelling to Budapest

Sandor is the best host in Budapest. Maybe even Europe. His apartments are clean, cosy and friendly, with fantastic facilities. He picked us up from the bus station, even though the bus arrived over an hour late and after midnight. He knows everything there is to know about Budapest, and will share it all with you. We couldn't recommend this...

The guesthouse was perfectly clean, spacious and provided all facilities! Sándor, the landlord, was really nice to us, very helpful and knew everything about Budapest and he can tell you everything you need to know. The tips he gave to us (We are a couple of the age of 21) were fortunately very nice and much fun. It was a...

We have been travelling around Europe for three months and we stayed at Travellers Home Hostel for 3 nights. It has by far been the most hospitable place we have stayed at. The host, Sandor, was more than informative and improved our stay in Budapest immensely. From first arriving with a free pick up service from the train station, informing...

While the interior of the house is a bit old and could be considered questionable, Sandor, your host, will take your first thirty minutes settling in to show you why you should not spend a second sleeping and should experience all of Budapest! My room's key was a bit difficult to manage, but Sandor was there to guide me through...

Let me first say that I had no intention of staying in a hostel because of all the bad things I'd heard. However, my friend persuaded me to stay in the superior room and it was an excellent choice. Sandor and his excellent accommodation have drastically changed my mind about hostels. Sandor was such an excellent host. He picked us...

Our room was clean, warm and comfortable, as was the welcome. From the moment we left the arrivals lounge of the airport Sandor did everything in is power to make our stay memorable. Staying here was like saying saying with a friend. Sandor gave us the run down on the city, bars and public transport (which is close and convenient),...

We stayed in the superior hostel (which was actually a fully equipped apartment) It was in a great location near some great bars and within walking distance of attractions and public transport. There were 4 of us in our group and we were lucky as we had the apartment to ourselves. It is in a secure location, needing a key code...

Sandor is such a helpful man who will do anything and everything to make your stay the best it possibly can be. He picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the Hostel and sat with us for over half an hour going through all the information possible about Budapest.  Transportation from the hostel is easy, on...
