We booked our three night stay directly on the hotel website, which included a (one way) transfer from the airport as part of the package. The hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and is close to lovely cafes, restaurants and bars. We like to walk everywhere, but if needed, the hotel is well served by buses, trams and the metro.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed at reception. The checkin process was quick and we were given the information we needed to make our stay perfect.
Our room was clean, comfortable, peaceful and quirky. The bathroom had a great shower and included toiletries. Bottled water was included on a daily basis.
The bar was a lovely, tranquil area to enjoy a drink each evening. The bar staff spent time to chatting to customers and offering help when needed to choose the right drink. We had been given a voucher for a drink each as part of our booking package and chose a Pina Colado; it was expertly made by the barman and tasted gorgeous!
We had read great reviews about the breakfast and it certainly didn't disappoint! It was probably the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! The choice was fantastic and catered for everyone. Fruit, cereal, nuts, seeds, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, choices of cheese, meat, fish, salad, couscous, sausages, eggs, bacon, bread, cakes, tea, coffee and champagne. I had the Bircher muesli each morning and it was absolutely gorgeous.
All the staff in the hotel were polite, friendly, smiling and appeared to be very happy working there and enjoyed meeting their guests
I can only say good things about the Bohem Art Hotel and would love to stay again if we return to Budapest.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my fiance and I can say that it was really nice stay. We're welcomed with 2 bottles of water and bottle of sparkling wine which was included in the room. It could be a bit colder (one Ice bucket could fix it) but it was really nice wine. Big + is for the reception staff and I can't forget to mention barman Kevin. He is such a nice addition to the hotel. Great job!
Breakfast is really nice as well, you can choose from cold and hot buffet which is continually filled. During our stay there wasn't any big issue which we couldn't fix with reception staff. We will for sure come back!

Bohem Art Hotel was an absolute dream. Myself and my fiance enjoyed 4 nights there and I cannot praise it highly enough.

Location wise it was ideal. We walked everywhere and while we were really central, the hotel is on a small side street so it doesn't get noisy overnight, particularly with large stag and hen parties which potter about.

The rooms were pristine with scented pillows and really funky decor. I'll mention the shower too just because a rainshower like this one is an ideal start to a morning.

As we booked directly through the website for 3 or more nights, we got an airport transfer included aswel as breakfast. The spread was incredible with loads of both healthy and guilty options. We were also delighted that brekkie was available until 11am on weekday and midday on the weekend as having a wee lie in is half the joy of a citybreak to us.
Finally, the staff were delightful. So friendly, accommodating and helpful.
Finally, this hotel was insane value for money and we really appreciated the little extras like a welcome drink in the bar (the bartender who's name escapes me, was so passionate about Hungarian produce so he gave us plenty of tips as to eating and drinking in the city), coffees in the afternoon and as we booked one of the Sweetheart rooms, we also got a bottle of prosecco thrown in.

Set yourself up for a wonderful trip to Budapest and book the Bohem Art Hotel. Go ahead. You'll be delighted.

We arrived for 3 nights, arrived early at 10am and were very grateful that the room was available! We had room 309, first impressions was that it was small, very small ... we couldn’t open our suitcase without it being in the way so was slightly irritating to keep packing it away and back out again.
The walls are very thin, so much so that I could hear my neighbours alarm go off in the mornings, near this in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Not the hotels fault but slightly annoying when your neighbour decides to snooze their alarm for every 10 mins for 30 mins.
Strangely the toilet made a gurgling noise at 8.00am randomly !! It happened on one morning only.
Housekeeping don’t clean the rooms after you’ve checked in, simply make the beds and take the bins away, the room could do with a dust.. the telephone was covered in it.
Handy note that slippers are provided but have to be asked for.
PROS!!!
This hotel is all about the location, absolutely brilliant, easy walking distance to pretty much all!
The breakfast is a good hearty spread! No complaints there.
Special mention to the bar man we met on Sunday night, apologies your name has slipped my mind and also to Vicky on reception. A real credit to the hotel!
Thank you.

Dear Chloe, First and foremost, I would like to say thank you for sharing your valuable and sincere review about your recent stay at Bohem Art Hotel - we highly appreciate your observations by which we can improve. I was really sorry to read about the bits of inconvenience you experienced in the room. I have personally brought the attention of the housekeeping to the importance of maintaining the high level of service that our guests deserve at all times. Also, I have asked our technicians to check up the soundproofing of the rooms and improve it where necessary. However, it is so pleasing to know that our friendly service did shine through while you were staying with us - your comment made us really proud of our bartender, Kevin and Vicky from the front desk. I was truly glad to read that our unbeatable location elevated your Bohem Art experience, and that you also enjoyed our plenteous buffet breakfast. Thank you again for letting us know about your insights and sharing your experience. Best regards, Roland Ruska

I always search based on price and location and I have to say that this little hotel did not disappoint! It was conveniently located and in walking distance to many of the sights and at a price that enabled us to splash out on nice meals and excursions during the trip.
The breakfast was impressive with lots of choice. We will definitely book this hotel when we come back to Budapest!

We could find absolutely nothing to criticise in this hotel. It is a little hidden from view being on a street running parallel to the river very close to Liberty Bridge so is very quiet. It is only five minutes walk from Tram and Metro stations, and only a 10 minute easy walk from the Airport bus drop-off point Kalvin Tér.
From front desk to cleaning staff, everyone in this hotel was efficient and friendly.
The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The breakfast way beyond all expectations. We particularly appreciated the excellent coffee and automatic orange press giving a constant stream of freshly pressed juice. I would certainly stay again and be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Initially when you book a hotel, you always look for location and price. They definitely ticked both boxes. Within walking distance from all the main attractions and 2 min walk from tube and tram (which you won’t really need to take if you stay here).
However, and most importantly, the hotel itself was incredible and the staff super attentive. Room was nice and cleaning is definitely up to high standards. Free still water everyday was also a great touch.
The breakfast is really good (I already miss it!) and has a big range of options from pastries, hot food to cold cured meats and cereal. They also have an amazing orange juice maker to get fresh juice everyday!
Overall, will highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks for making our stay a 5 star! Worth it.

We have just returned from staying in the Bohem Art Hotel! We booked 3 nights direct with the hotel via their website and were provided with a complementary airport transfer, paid city tax and cocktails on arrival. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed for my husbands 30th birthday and had a lovely chocolate muffin left in the room and were given a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was made up daily. Standard rooms are similar in size to those we have staying in London, Paris, Barcelona etc. Very central area close to lots of the main attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, only one block from Váci Street, close to market and tram stop. This hotel was so quiet, I never heard another person the two nights I was here. Breakfast is an additional 15 euros but was excellent. My first day I skipped breakfast and went somewhere else for coffee and a pastry, which cost 10 euros. For that price it is better to just have the hotel breakfast which was terrific and had many, many options. My room was clean, quiet, nice bathroom and shower. The front desk staff was very nice, during my stay I had a question about my BKK daily transit pass and the person at the desk was very helpful.
On previous trips to Budapest I stayed at two different hotels near the Boráros ter H tram stop, I liked them both and breakfast was included there, but I’d prefer to stay at Bohem Art because the location is so convenient - I could get anywhere quickly and enjoyed being close to everything but in a quiet location.

Super easy to just take the bus. It's direct. I think you get off the 2nd of 3 stops. Then it's a really short walk to the hotel. Also, it's really inexpensive.

Dear "skb2000", Thank you for your question. Although the hotel does not have its own parking facilities there is a secured, nearby garage where we have places. Please read all the necessary information regarding the parking below: - Price: 20 EUR /night - This service is payable in cash at the hotel reception. - The garage (distance from hotel: 70 meters) can be accessed 24/7, it is secured and has English-speaking reception service. - Maximum vehicle height: 2 meters. Advance reservation is recommended prior to arrival. Kind regards, David Bots

For arrivals ask the hotel to pick you up as it’s free. For departure it takes 30 minutes by bus - ask at the hotel reception for directions as it’s 5 minutes walk to the bus stop.
