We stayed at the hotel during January. The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 100 shekels (the hotel does not offer airport shuttle service).
The hotel is in a perfect location, situated on the Danube, surrounded by all possible attractions within walking distance or a short public transportation ride. The hotel is pleasantly and modernly designed (not unique, but nice).
There is a 24-hour front desk with courteous reception.
The room is exactly as shown in the pictures, very comfortable in size and clean. The room includes a bed, a desk, a coffee corner, a space for hanging clothes and some storage, a bathroom with a shower, and a tiny balcony facing the building's inner courtyard (I assume a room with a river view would be nicer if available).
Breakfast was excellent, offering vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, bread, pastries, juices, pancakes, and more.
Very fair price.
In short, highly recommended.

Please allow me to share with you my review of the Hotel Vision in Budapest.
We chose to book this hotel as the reviews were amazing and everyone seemed to love it, and oh my god it certainly lived up to the hype! From the minute you enter the lobby you know you are about to stay somewhere a bit special. I could go on for days about how good this place is but I'll try and keep it simple!
Location. Right on the banks of the Danube, with trams, buses and taxis all in walking distance. There are nice restaurants nearby (Greek and Lebanese) and you're not far from supermarkets. It's also perfectly placed for sightseeing and all the other touristy stuff like boat trips and the christmas markets.
The Hotel. Super modern with a nice chilled out vibe, there are comfortable seating areas in the lobby where you can grab a coffee or tea. It has a gym, sauna, and lifts. Access is really good for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Secure too because you can't use the lifts to access the rooms unless you have a room card - Nice touch i thought!
Reception. The staff greeted us with a big smile, were very polite and professional. They genuinely made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. Nothing was to much trouble, even providing street maps and assisting us with booking tours.
The Room. WOW! Beautiful decor, spacious, and well thought out, fully adjustable air-con, proper coat hangers and plenty of storage for our clothes and toiletries. Safe, minibar, big TV and Everything worked as it should. Goldilocks would have no trouble getting a good nights sleep. (An actual double bed and NOT two singles shoved together!) And if you needed anything extra like pillows, slippers or a bathrobe these were all available from reception.
Housekeeping. I'm not gonna lie, I've got this 'thing' about dirt! And I'll mark a hotel down for if it isn't done right. However...The ladies here do an exceptionally good job, and I mean meticulous scrubbing of a room to within an 'inch of it's life' good! For that I think they deserve a special mention. It really is no exaggeration to say the rooms once cleaned are spotless!
Breakfast. For any traveller from any part of the world I can say with some degree of certainty that you will find something you will like, be it warm sausage, bacon and eggs, cereals, fresh fruit and even a fresh pancake making machine. (I'd like to interject at this point and dismiss a fellow reviewers complaint about the pancake machine not working - that's absolute rubbish! We were there at the same time as this guest and I had half a dozen fresh pancakes every morning without fail!) The staff were friendly and again nothing was too much trouble for them, making fresh coffee on request and keeping the breakfast area clean and tidy for the steady flow of diners.
I think I've covered most of the main points a potential guest would be looking for in a review and hope you've found it useful. I'll sign off by saying that every single aspect of the Hotel is genuinely first class. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Booked our 4 night city break with jet 2, arrived approx 10pm and was quickly checked in and the lady offered us info on a local shop/restaurant that would still be open for a quick bite to eat. From start to finish we loved every minute. The hotel was bright, airy and very clean, we stayed in a superior double with French balcony, no views but it’s in the hotel courtyard so very quiet with a foundation below so you could hear the water from your bedroom. Beds were very comfortable, showers and bathroom really good. Breakfast was served between 7-10.30 and plenty of hot and cold choices. We used their bookable taxi service to get to and from the airport, 17,000 HUF to the hotel and 14,000 HUF to the airport, really good value and drivers arrived on time and were friendly. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and can see they work hard to keep the hotel at the standard it is at, would highly recommend a stay here.
Finally on the last night we booked a table at the tapas fino restaurant on site and if you don’t do anything else, have dinner there!! Quality of the food was excellent and couldn’t fault anything, staff, food drinks, service, everything was top notch! The rib eye steak dish was incredible!

This hotel is excellent in every respect. It’s location on the riverside by the Elizabeth Bridge means that you are close to all the attractions. It is exceptionally clean, the facilities are brilliant and the staff cannot do enough to help you, from advising on and booking restaurants, getting tickets for Citybus Tours and everything else that makes you feel at home when you are away. Great hotel and front desk staff. We booked via JET2 so didn't really do much research on the hotel but we were very impressed with location, facilities, and the fact the rooms were very modern. There is a small spa also, but we didn't use it. Lots of restaurants close by. Returned to airport by taxi booked through the front desk. We would certainly consider this hotel again in Budapest.

Everyone was so helpful throughout our 3 night stay. They stored our bags after coming from our cruise, They gave us an upper floor room and the woman in reception went out of her way to get us dinner reservations the first night at Rick’s; everything else close by was full, as we had not taken into consideration how busy Easter weekend would be! We were given a complimentary drink that afternoon at Tapas and a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. We were given robe, slippers, and duvet upon request. The hotel was very clean and quiet with complimentary coffee and tea in lobby. Breakfast buffet was extremely good, although they did not do made to order eggs. There was plenty of variety and well worth adding. Staff at reception went over and above in every way! If we go back, we would stay there again, as it could not be more convenient to the bridges to Buda, Central Market, tram, Vaci St., etc. It was a great view across the river from the outdoor patio.

The location of the Vision Hotel is fantastic - quiet and the sights of Budapest can easily be explored on foot. Restaurants and shops are also available in the area. The hotel is new, very modern with nice, large rooms and really comfortable beds. I had the Executive Room with Street View and a balcony and can really recommend it - it was very quiet at night. The breakfast left nothing to be desired - the only thing was the coffee from the machine, which was really awful, but on request the friendly staff prepared a coffee drink from the Barrista coffee machine. Clearly recommended for a city trip in Budapest, would book it again at any time!

Entire hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and responsive. Our room was much more spacious than we expected, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean. I have dust allergies and usually I have issues with spaces not properly cleaned or with dirty cooling systems, but here everything was perfect. Location is ideal to explore the city center, being located in the middle of it close to the main landmarks and restaurants.
