The Boscolo Residence is about 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station in Budapest. It is about 20 minutes walk from a lot of the tourist areas. The "Residence" is a new part of the 5 Star Hotel of the same name "Boscolo Hotel". The price was very reasonable as it included breakfast (which is a great breakfast)...

This apartment hotel was a great value considering the location, space, and service. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a modern property that accommodates more than 2 persons. Our family of 4 stayed here for 9 nights in a two-bedroom (2 story). We liked the front desk staff, housekeeping, and free coffee every morning. We all agreed that...

The residence is very nice and was renewed some years ago. There is a very nice entrance and the rooms are simply great, they're big and very very spacious. It's like a little flat with the kitchen and the living room. There is a nice gym. The price is medium for what it's offered. Note that parking is charged, breakfast...

The apartment had 2 bedrooms. One room was a good size, the other was on the small side. I was sharing with 2 friends and hence it would have been handy to have 2 bathrooms rather than just the one. And there was no lock on the bathroom door! Another negative was the traffic noise, it was very difficult to...

If you are visiting Budapest for a city break or business and are happy to eat out or self cater this is perfect. Spacious rooms with good facilities, modern and clean. Central location so easy to get around the city. Friendly staff. Only downside is the breakfast is a bit lacking in choice/space to sit and eat so I ate...

Staying here gives you a "rented home" experience in a historic area with complete modern interior renovations and comfort. The location is central, the front desk know you, and they have great internet, cappuccino/latte on level one, and laundry services. I love the space and separation so you do not feel like you are in a hotel room and housekeeping...

I didn't know what to expect when booking this hotel for my boyfriends birthday surprise. We arrived late in the evening, closer to midnight, and the man working in the reception was wonderful. He helped us point out the location on a map and then showed us the best places to walk around / shop / eat etc. The appartment...

Our room upon arrival overlooked the main which was very noisy and we could not rest that evening. However when we asked for a quieter room at reception this was rectified straight away. We were given an upgrade and the apartment was spacious and quiet.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
