Had a great apartment with large living area and bedroom area. TVs in both areas was a great bonus. Having a fridge was useful with a supermarket around the corner. This was my first time to Budapest so cant compare with any other accommodation but would recommend the Boscollo Residences. Metro is just around the corner, literally.

When I reserved the room there was option to ask for a quiet room and when I arrived I was given a quiet room. So right off the bat everything was going well. Room had a kitchenette and proper half-sized refrigerator. My only complaint about the room was the loud bathroom fan. (It switches on some time after you put...

Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, close to the city center and easily accesible. A great place to stay in total. The only 2 minor down sides are the low shower head pressure and the fact that there wasn't a kettle in the room.

I have mixed feelings about the Boscolo residence. The whole booking process was a nightmare. We were making a relatively late booking for New Year and as the apartments showed no availability on any of the normal booking sites we contacted them directly. Yes they had availability. However, they wanted me to fill in a declaration form and fax it...

Dear Valued Guest ’Dave H’, I would like to thank you very much for commenting on Boscolo Residence. At the same time I was disappointed to read that the services of our Front Desk and our Housekeeping department was not satisfactory for you. All of our colleagues work hard to provide impeccable service, although it seems we fell short of...

The Boscolo Residence is part of the Boscolo hotel complex which includes the famous New York cafe. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre. It also has a Hop On Hop Off tourist bus stop very close by. Hot complimentary drinks are available in the lobby. The rooms were clean, with a large bathroom and a very...

I have been to this hotel on three occasions now and I can honestly say that this hotel is probably one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in, due to the nature of my work I live out of a suitcase as an average two weeks of every month travelling around the world so I visit many hotels,...

It's 5 star in every way possible. Stunning apartments all clean and tidy. Shower and bath were very good. Only down is you can only get news channel on the TV. Which is great for business travellers but not for luxury travellers who basically live there. Rooms are too hot as fan system is either off or hot. Think it...

It depends on how much you value your sleep. The hotel itself is lovely and modern and has some great amenities like a microwave, kettle, electric hobs and even a washing machine! Ideal for a longer stay but was only here for one night. The downside for me and my partner was the bed and pillows were rock hard and...

Spacious and clean rooms with a living room and a kitchen. Fair price. We took the new york caffe breakfast package and it was unforgettable! This place is like a museum and the food is great! The subway is 100m near the hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay just over Christmas here. I had a lot of requests on arrival after reading some of the comments here. A lovely lady, Annett was very accommodating and said we can have an upgrade. The 5th floor apartment was facing an inner courtyard and was so quiet, spacious with so much storage for our belongings....

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
