The erstwhile Jewish ghetto in Pest with the iconic Synagogue towering over it is a wonderfully atmospheric place. It is right here that Claudia Rooms is brilliantly located. The one-bedroom apartment that we had rented in Kazinczy Ut was a few blocks off the main address - but seemed to be all the more nicer. It was a large, well-appointed...

We stayed in a twin room, street facing apartment in July, the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, the room was warm but a fan is supplied. The bathrooms were clean and very large, with a bath and a shower. The owner was very nice and informative and explained everything to us well. They also showed us...

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment on Kazinczy Street, which is a few blocks from the main address. The apartment was large and well furnished and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The main bathroom was large and had a built-in washing machine that did not work (eventually our clothes were washed for free). There was ample storage space....

I spent five nights in the apartment in Kazinczy Street on the fifth floor. The location was great - a few steps from the city centre, in the heart of the Jewish quarter. The rooms were spacious and simply furnished (but for one broken chair). The bathroom had a big bath but was quite humid and without windows. Everything was...

The apartment is really nice with a big kitchen shared by 3 rooms. It's clean and the apartment owner is very friendly. The room itself is very spacious with a little table and chairs set next to the window, although we have some trouble with the fact that the room locked itself once you closed it at first. The price...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
