The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.

This was my first trip to Budapest. The hotel was recommended by the company I was taking a tour with in central Europe as this is one of the hotels they use. I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect for sight seeing. Having a beautiful view of the Danube River and

Faces the Danube River, located on Buda side about 5 minute walk from Chain Bridge, quiet area, close to tram, buses, and big attractions in the area. Multiple small restaurants around and medieval street behind. Our standard room was huge, multiple windows, could see St.

The hotel exceeded our expectations almost in all aspects - great location, excellent rooms, big bathroom and superb bed. But the price for breakfast is a bit higher (at least for prices valid in Budapest)

Can the hotel arrange airport transfer?
Yes. They had called a cab for us for airport drop

Pretty certain you can. Tell hotel about this when you book, so you don't end up on the top floor (unless you really like stairs)

It depends on what you wish to see, the hotel is right opposite the beautiful parliament building and in the centre of all the action however a lot of the points of interest are spread out around the city and some of which could be difficult to access with limited mobility. But yes, the hotel is very central and in an ideal location. The hotel is fantastic at organising transport for you though and will happily book you taxis for days out to places further away. Hope this helps.

We had a double room without river view, which was superb, the mattress was very comfortable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay there again!
