The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.

Was a good hotel, friendly staff and extremely helpful. The rooms were a tad bit tight and the air conditioning was not cold enough as the room was pretty warm. We had to change our money into the Hungarian currency but the front desk were unable to assist. It’s Ok.

The hotel facilities are excellent and the hotel itself was very clean. The city centre isn't too far either just a few stops away on the metro. If you're walking it's a long enough walk through a large tunnel.

The only good thing about this hotel is that is near a subway station and even that is not that good because it's the last station of a subway line. The reasons why you shouldn't stay at this hotel is that the rooms are so incredibly small! You just can't walk freely, the

Dear Our Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate all our guest feedback and we are very disappointed that we failed to make your stay as special as we should have done. Our Hotel is in line with similar properties in this area and we feel that we offer good value given our central location, extensive facilities and professional always smiling staff. However, in your case it appears we failed to meet expectations, and for that I am truly sorry. Sincerely Yours, Diana Hegyesdi, Assistant to General Manager

To avoid the hussle you should take a taxi or at least ask in the hotel if they have any means of transport of their own. The pricing should be reasonable.

Not sure but $200 forint will get you everywhere. If you stay at the hotel, everything is walking distance and really no need for public transit

25 minutes train and walking would be the cheapest depending on how many in your party. Or 8 minute ride in Uber.

Taxis vary depending on time of day and which day. Pay in HUF rather than foreign currency and it can be as cheap as 7,000 0r up to 14,000 on a weekday in rush hour.
