Neighbourhood
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.

Great quality for good value. Staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to suite for no extra charge. The room was old fashioned but very cozy. Location was perfect too. Good parking solution (garage parking for very cheap). Big offer for breakfast. Very nice breakfast

Dear Passenger06870925509, Thank you very much for being our guest at Hotel Hungaria City Center recently. It is nice to learn from your review that you were entirely content with our concierge service and we are glad that you highlighted one of our colleague’s restaurant recommendation. However I am sorry to read that you felt smoke smell in your room. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, sometimes it happens unfortunately that our guests smoke in the rooms even if it is a non-smoking one, it must have happened with the previous guest. Nevertheless, your feedback is highly appreciated and I am sorry that we were not aware of this issue, since we would have been happy to search for another room for you to make your stay more pleasant with us. Overall, thank you for your generous review and we hope to have you back to our hotel soon. Best regards, Csapó Béla Front Office Manager

Happy we chose this hotel for our stay in Budapest. We booked a superior double room and it was huge. We also had a lovely view to the street and to the train station nearby - Keleti. Even though it is a little bit noisy at night, we didn't mind that. We read the reviews before

I'm sure they will take dollars, but at what rate? In my experience it is always best and cheaper to pay in local currency. Same with credit cards and the, "Dynamic Currency Conversion Scam". Always opt for the local currency.
