Nice staff especiially the guy on reception and the girl in the bar. The rooms aren't huge, but fine for us as we were only there for a long weekend. Shower head was broken in one of our rooms but we got round it. Breakfast...More
You pays your money you takes your choice. What we have here is an example of an average but cheep hotel. Clean inside with functional rooms, but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. We upgraded to the suites on the top floor for an...More
We stayed at the Golden Park Hotel as part of a 3 night city break to Budapest with friends. The reception is very good with the reception star being very helpful and friendly. The ground floor that contains reception and the bar is very presentable....More
The Golden's Park Hotel's greatest advantage is its location: right across the street from Keleti Railway station. So you are a short subway ride from all of Budapest's main attractions. Besides that it was just OK. It is not a luxury hotel, but the rooms...More
The hotel is conveniently situated near the train station, as well as several bus stops. It was clean and comfortable, the towels were a bit worn, but overall I was very impressed. I would stay here again

We actually booked an airport shuttle when we got there as we got a later flight and just wanted to get relaxed. There is a desk in the airport which is signed from baggage reclaim and worked out at about £25 return trip for the 2 of us...which although more than youd pay via public transport took the hassell out of it and this option was much cheaper than any of the pre-booking companies wed looked at before departure which were around £40 one way. Would definately recommend them and the drivers were lovely both ways.
