A stylish hotel near Budapest’s fashion street Whether you plan to do some sightseeing, browse the shops or go out for a special meal, Hotel Erzsébet is a great starting point. This modern, atmospheric hotel – occupying a recently pedestrianised street in the city centre - is popular among both business travellers and tourists exploring Budapest. It’s situated in the middle of bustling District 5, which is the capital’s business, commercial and cultural heartland. Váci utca, Budapest’s most famous shopping street, is only a few steps away, and it’s not much further to the Danube Promenade and the legendary Great Market Hall. This neighbourhood is full of sights to see, shops, cafés and excellent restaurants. Numerous buses stop nearby, and the M3, M2 and M4 Metro lines are also within easy reach.

Amazing clean hotel in a central place to everything. Could not ask for better. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Rooms were immaculate and very spacious. We went to the back streets to eat as they were a lot cheaper than the main places to eat. The staff here were pleasant and helpful if you needed any information.

The place is basic and in a very good location. The rooms are very small specially the toilets and it doesn't contain the basics even for a hostel level. It's very clean. The breakfast is terrible and its below the minimum. The basic breakfast is not available and the waiters is completely unfriendly and non welcoming. If you wana stay overthere you will enjoy a good location.

This is a lovely hotel on a quiet street in the Pest side of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. There was a good selection for breakfast. (The only downside is that the breakfast room becomes a steak restaurant and that is the decor). The hotel is in walking distance most of the main sights. Tip-if you plan to head over the other side of the Danube, turn left out of the hotel as it's a shorter walk.

A superb hotel that is very very reasonably priced. The location is excellent, a great walking distance to all the main locations and really good transport links right nearby like the metro. Staff were very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were great and facilities were also very good

Still got 2 nights at this hotel. At check in was told breakfast was not included which was wrong because upon booking this hotel bed and breakfast WAS included when I originally made the booking but as I booked through Expedia the hotel just washed their hands of it and said you need to speak to your provider. Bit late now sunshine trying to rinse us out of another 18 euro per day. I thought the currency was florin? The icing on the cake was us trying to get ice from the hotel. They at first said they would bring some up to us and then after a few minutes called to say there was no ice. The bar...which is apparently separate from the hotel (same building) would not even give my partner a glass of ice and by that point he was so wound up he paid 500 florin for a bag of ice. I wonder if they would charge that amount for a simple glass of water. Unfortunately reception were not helpful and it makes me wonder how much more money this hotel is going to rinse from us over the next few days. When you work in customer service I do make excuses for the individual staff as they are just following very poor instructions and I actually feel sorry for them when they cannot rectify a very simple problem.
