Crowded and expensive. 3 plots where there’s only really space for 2. No grass, despite the photos, all dirt/gravel. A very friendly welcome however, the owner was super helpful. Close to the city for those who want that. For us, just not enough privacy.

Cozy camping site in Budapest on the west side (Buda) of the city. Very friendly, young, owner Gabor. When visiting with caravan trailer beware of the U-turn at the entrance and warn Gabor in advance of yr arrival so he can guide you. Toilet/shower facilities available and hot water. Bus stop for visiting the city close by.

I have been visiting Budapest frequently in the last 35 years, staying in apartments and hotels, and I have camped in other parts of Hungary, but this was the first time that I camped in Budapest for three weeks during June, July and August. I didn’t know what to expect of a City Campsite, but my Hungarian friends assured me, that the area where Camping Ave Natura is located is very beautiful. And they are right. The hills and trees provide a unique atmosphere. It’s like an Oasis in a big city. Though the campsite is just 15 min by car or 25 min by bus to the heart of the city (The bus stop is just 10 minutes walking from the campsite and the bus goes frequently). It's not a large campsite, so reservation is necessary. Especially in the high season. It’s a family friendly Camping and between 21:00 and 8:00 hrs., guests are quiet. The facilities of this camping are basic, but sufficient. There are several spots for campers and for tents. The showers are hot, and the toilets are clean. There is a kitchen for cooking and a fridge. There is no camping shop or restaurant, but there is a little supermarket at 15 min walking distance or a bigger one at 20 min walking distance. Of course, you can also bring groceries from the city on the bus. What make this campsite unique is its owner. Marta is the kindest and most supporting campsite owners I have ever met. She really makes an effort for all here guests to provide their practical needs at the camping, but also personalized information and tips about the city, based on the interests of the guests. My seven-year-old daughter and I have stayed at Ave Natura with great pleasure. I was our safe and cozy home for the summer, from which we could easily explore the city. While it was around 35 degrees in the city, the trees and the cool breeze of the hills, made sure we could sleep very comfortable in our tent. We definitely would like to stay here again.…

Not too expensive Only 25 mins bus from the centre of Budapest 💚💚 the bus it's running every 20 mins 💙💙 so it's very easy to travel from there... They also have WiFi which is quite fast in the morning, they give you map and tickets for the bus as well

this campsite got a very good location, but unfortunately we could not drive in with our caravan - entrance very narrow and turn to sharp so no way to drive in with caravan. For motorhomes it's ok. Remigijus and Loreta, June 2022

I was in the camping for a month in September and I have great time there. The camping is perfectly situated in the park, but very close to the city centre. By bike is 10 min. almost all on bike road with very good signs. The centre is reachable with 2 busses too. The camping itself is very clean, and the family which runs it are very friendly people. There is wonderful terrace with nice kitchen for the guests where you can not only cook something delicious, but you can also socialise with other people, so everyone can feel the campfire spirit( if someone don’t, can stay in the camper:) ). I enjoyed there nature, very clean facilities, bike roads, friendly people and more. Boris

Lovely campsite to relax completely. Very friendly and welcoming welcome where you immediately feel at home. The explanation of the Mother of the house about how and what in the city and the bus trip felt like a relief and certainly not a burden. Oh yes and wifi at the campsite is also just good and not such a vague promise. All in all highly recommended! PS The campsite is run by mother and son (with help from girlfriend). It is very cuddly not that masale and certainly no measured fields. But spaces that are large enough to handle. By the way, this only applies to people who always think in terms of solutions and have a positive attitude to life.
