This hotel has a tasteful interior and pleasant facilities including a small jacuzzi and sauna which helped us wind down after our flight. They also serve a selection of wintry teas and hot lemonade which you can help yourself to during the day. Rooms were well equipped, be mindful that the mini fridge is not free. This was stocked with snacks and a selection of drinks much to our delight upon our arrival.

We were under the impression you only paid for extras but you are charged for consumption of any item you take. The card system for the lifts was very problematic for us, you need it to go from floor to floor as well as entering your room and this would often not work causing hold ups and changing cards over several times. It turned out the card should not be kept next to your mobile phone in your handbag as it interferes with the magnet.

The staff at the reception desk were very helpful and happy to call us taxis to and fro for day trips and back to the airport. Breakfast is plentiful with a vast selection of hot and cold foods. We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but we believe the card system for the lifts needs an overhaul.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a short visit to Budapest. The hotels location is fantastic, a walk away from many of Budapest’s attractions, about 20 min walk into downtown Budapest or 5mins in a taxi. Good public transport links around the hotel with buses and trams nearby also.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and well set out. Rooms are well equipped and the bar and restaurant area are clean and comfortable.
The hotels wellness area is an added bonus with a sauna and Jacuzzi for use.
Tea/coffee/hot drinks and bottled water are also served (free of charge) all day in the bar area which we found very useful, a fantastic service.

We were most impressed by the customer service provided, every member of staff we encountered in the hotel could not help us enough. When we had issues with a taxi service and reported it to the hotel, they went over and above to ensure the issue did not compromise our stay in Budapest. Special mention to Barbara and the other young girl at reception (sorry, didn’t get her name) who were both absolutely fantastic, really took care of us and ensured we left Budapest happy customers. Top customer service and a real credit to the company. Highly recommended. We will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

This hotel is fantastic! The location is perfect, it’s very very close to the city centre but on a quiet street which is even better! It is around a 5 minutes walk from the parliament building which is one of the main tourist attractions in Budapest, and around a 10 minutes walk to the metro line, it is surrounded by so many different restaurants and even an aldi for snacks. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly and spoke very good English, when we arrived in the room it was lovely and clean and there was even a form you could fill out to hand to reception requesting extra things such as pillows, robes, towels etc which I thought was very helpful. The hotel also closes its doors at night time so you can only access with a key card or by speaking to the staff which is a brilliant safety feature especially in a city, and the lift requires a key card to go up! This hotel is excellent value for money and definitely deserves 5 stars, I usually don’t visit the same hotel more than once but I would definitely return to this one!
Thank you to all the staff at hotel parlament:)

Excellent hotel in a great location, close to city with good connections close by for bus, cable bus, metro and tram that enable you to explore the whole city whether on foot or by public transport which is cheap and regular.
It is located on a nice quiet street, so no noise at night at all.
Hotel staff are really helpful, welcoming and friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean.
The breakfast is good with plenty of options including healthy food. There are also 2 vegan restaurants nearby, which was great for us. Madal is particularly good and a 2 minute walk.
Would highly recommend this super chic and friendly hotel and we would visit again and choose as preference.

Booked their Leisure Package which I would highly recommend! Prior to our stay the hotel sent out a welcome email too arrange our transportation needs from the train station. We arrived at 10am so had to store our bags till room was ready which was to be expected; the unexpected was that when we came back from touring around a bit and the room was ready (12:00). The staff was very helpful in setting us up with the name of a private trour company that was execellent! Any questions or needs we may have had the staff was very accomodating and willing to help! We had the corner room on the 4th floor and loved it! Very large and spacious! The bed was comfy! Bathroom and amenities were on par. Only dissatisfaction would be the towels were rough and did little to soak up water. Breakfast buffet was staffed and had a very good selection. The location of the hotel was a bit of the beaten path but still an easy walk to Parliament,The Danube, St Stephens Cathedral and Old Town. Taxi's were fairly accessable on the street but front desk was helpfull and aquiring transportation if needed. Spa was clean and inviting. Bar inside was open till 1AM. Would definitely recomend this lovely gem!

We stayed at the Hotel Parlament in April for four nights. The location is fantastic, walking distance from most of they key attractions. Despite its great location, the hotel always felt quite peaceful. The hotel staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful in assisting us with arranging activities and booking taxis etc. The hotel lobby was very clean and modern, providing comfortable waiting spaces with free tea and coffee facilities. The bedroom was clean and comfortable (although the bed was a little lumpy and the pillows very small) and was cleaned regularly by a very friendly team. Despite the free tea and coffee facilities in the lobby, it would have been beneficial to have these facilities in the bedroom too. Air conditioning was available in the room, however, although we tried several times, we struggled to get it to work effectively and consequently we were very warm during the night. The bathroom had a bath and over bath shower; the shower was good temperature and powerful. The bathroom was also fitted with a great hairdryer. Although the bathroom seemed to have had some modernisation, it was looking a little tired in places. The hotel has a spa, with hot tub and sauna, however, non of this was available when we visited, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel was great value for money and we had a great stay.

Dear Kelly L, First and foremost let me thank you for your valuable time taken to share your recent experiences with the largest traveler's community. Your kind compliments are greatly appreciated. As I was reading your feedback I was most pleased that you enjoyed the central location and were amazed how peaceful your room had been. I am also grateful for highlighting our team, it is always lovely seeing them being mentioned along with the complimentary coffee corner too. It is unfortunate to read that there were some things that did not meet your expectations. I regret to hear, that the mattress was not comfortable and the size of the pillows were not to your liking. However, I have noted your suggestion regarding having coffee facilities in the rooms and your concern of the bathroom. We always appreciate such ideas as it is an opportunity to further improve our service. Our hotel has a unique AC system, thus we can either heat or cool, unfortunately not both. The change of seasons always presents us with a hard decision and due to the outside weather conditions, we were in the heating mode at the time. I truly wish I had the chance to offer you a solution. I would like to apologize for the problem regarding our Jacuzzi. Even though we try our best to call our guests attention to that the hot tub is currently out of order, it does not change the fact that it is not available. Guests are able to use the sauna, although it is necessary to book it advance. I sincerely hope next time your travel plans brings you back you will have the chance to use them both and that you were satisfied with your stay and returned home with the most wonderful memories. Once again, thank you very much for sharing your feedback and we are looking forward to welcoming you back in our hotel hopefully in the not so distant future! Yours sincerely, Imre Farkas Front Desk Supervisor

Stayed here as part of my birthday treat visit to Budapest. Not far from the Parlament itself and in a quiet but accessible part of town. Reception staff were the best, room had everything for a short break and the breakfast whilst not cheap ( 15 euros) was excellent. Without prompting staff noted it was my birthday and lo and behold champagne, strawberries and chocolate appeared in the room, delightful touch. All in all a great hotel in a great city, book it, you won't be disappointed.

Booked this randomly for a visit to Budapest and the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Would highly recommend this hotel for the level of service, the staff, the rooms, the location and the breakfast.
We had a beautifully cool high ceilinged air conditioned room and both the bed and bathroom were fitted out to a high standard, to a much greater extent than more expensive hotels I have stayed in.
The only dining is for breakfast but that was outstanding covering many hot and cold options and although self service the staff were always there, clearing away, refilling pots and sorting out tables. Soya milk or extra family guests, no problem at all.
The hotel is stylishly decorated and in a classical old building so feels spacious and airy.
There is a small lounge with teas , coffee and juice available all day and a bar open late into the evening.
What made the hotel stand out was the friendly efficient service, always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
As the organisation at the Grand Prix circuit was truly appalling, this hotel really made the weekend for me.
Many thanks

A lovely 5 night stay at Hotel Parlement. The hotel is situated in a quiet street but only a ten minute walk to the Parliament building in one direction and ten minutes to the Basilica in the opposite direction. The room was modern with a comfy bed, hot shower, and a mini fridge with drinks and snacks, we didn't take any but used the fridge to store our own drinks and snacks. Breakfast was good, all the usual treats, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, cheeses, breads, and pastries to set you up for the day. The waitress at breakfast is a credit to the hotel, friendly and chatty and always smiling. We used the wellness room, which was a nice treat after all the walking however only the sauna was available, not the jacuzzi, which was a
shame. Free teas, coffee, and juice were available in the lobby, which after all the siteseeing it was good to sit and chill with a drink before returning to the room. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to family and friends, we will return to see the city in a warmer time of year.

Hiya, we were in Budapest for the Christmas markets which was very good. We haven’t been at however most things were open just before Christmas so I think they’ll be open at easter. Try and book good restaurants before you go because we didn’t and some of the ones we had researched were fully booked for the next 2/3 weeks. Have a great trip.

Dear "Christy M ", First and foremost let me thank you for interesting in our Hotel Parlament for your upcoming stay in Budapest. In case we have room available upon your arrival, we will be happy to proceed with the check-in, but unfortunately I am not able to confirm this option in advance. Free of charge early check-in depends always on the previous day’s occupancy. If the reserved room is not available in the morning, you can take advantage of our luggage room and start to explore the area of the hotel. You are of course very welcome to use all hotel services before check-in as well, like free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, tea and mineral water consumption. The official check-in time starts at 2 p.m. As far as your kind enquiry is concerned about a late check-out as well, let me kindly inform you that our official latest check-out time is noon (12 o’clock). In case our same-day’s availability allows, a free of charge late check-out is possible until 2 p.m. Unfortunately, we are not able to confirm this option in advance. After 2 p.m. the following extra charges apply: - until 3:30 p.m. late check-out costs: 50% of the daily rate - after 3:30 p.m. 100% of the daily rate is payable I hope I could help you with all this information. If we can be at your further assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime. Kind regards, Barbara Tóth Front Office Manager btoth@parlament-hotel.hu
