We spent 3 nights at the Patria Pansion - which also belongs to Senator House Hotel - and were absolutely satisfied. Spacious and clean room and bathrom, comfortable bed. The buffet at the breakfast is small but you can find a wide range of food, the service is excellent. We really can not mention a thing that we missed or... More

We stayed in Rome 11 and had a superb view out to the square. Our room was spacious and clean with a véry comfortable bed and quality linens. Lots of hot water and shower and tub excellent. Breakfast was included and of very good standard in a nice dining area. We also had an excellent lunch and dinner there and... More

A well located and and reasonably priced hotel with friendly staff. Good sized room and no street noise due to double glazing (we couldn't find and didn't need air conditioning). Comfortable although not luxurious. No lift. Open air car parking two minutes' walkl away.

A nice place to stay in the heart of Eger. Ten minute taxi ride from the train station. Not fancy but comfortable and clean. Air conditioning kind of clunky--free-standing unit that hums loudly and doesn't really cool much. Just open the windows at night and the cross ventilation cools the room. Breakfast adequate but not amazing. Overall, a good value.... More

The hotel is very nice and centrally located! We got the package with free breakfast and dinner and the food was wonderful. The only problem is the little portable A/C unit in the room. It did not work very well which meant the room was pretty hot at night. Just something to consider if you are staying here in the... More

First of all the staff were great and helpful. Location is great, center of the main square. Everything is walking distance from here. The building is old and the steps are narrow. Basic room with minimal decor, not the room i thought i booked per photo on my booking itinerary was a little disappointing. The breakfast was decent and the... More

Loved the quaint feeling of this small hotel. The complimentary breakfast out on the patio was most enjoyable way to start the day. Comfortable beds and nicely appointed room. Best location in town! This hotel has air conditioning. Quiet location at night.

First visit to Hungary and after a few days staying in Budapest hired a car to explore of the country and based ourselves at Senator House Hotel for a couple of nights. Arrived with the help GPS as not the easiest of places to find your way too but well worth it. The guy on reception couldn't have been more... More

This is the best place, with the kindest owner and waiters. Comfortable, clean, there was even my favourite shower gel. Meals are delicious. The furniture is in antique style but with... More

Stayed for two nights. Very pleasant stay staff is very friendly and accomodating. Location is a big plus, we walked everywhere. Breakfast is very limited atleast from the American perceptive. Cereal tea coffee meat and fruit. Not bad but don't expect much. Accommodations are either in main bldg or away but only a short walk away. Do take toiletries none... More
