I would love to come back here to stay. We only experienced the restaurant...which was fabulous! It is very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful location..if a bit hard to find. However the local cab driver knew the location and did not not have a hard time.

Amazing experience. Beds were very comfortable and our room a good view on the garden. Restaurant was very fancy but also pricy. Taste didn't match the price. However service was very good. Tips: go for a hike to the viewpoint! And go for some bites in de centre.

A small monastery has been transformed into a small elegant retreat hotel. The rooms are fairly large with a comfortable bed and sofa/seating area. Decor is understated with lots of dark wood and elegant but simple linens that reflect the former monastery use. Restaurant is superb for both dinner and breakfast. Nice local wine list. Far from the town but... More

The monastery hotel has been refurbished with a perfect ballance to keep the old atmosphere and to provide the new functions. It should be a best practice for all such hotels. The kitchen and the service was marvelous.

This is a place full of surprises. First of all, I didn't know what to look for, turns out it's attached to a very nice church. We were there for just one night and it was not very full, but they have done a great job at maintaining the place. The room was spotless, simple but very comfortable. The entire... More

I have been in this hotel and its restaurant several times and always enjoyed it very much. The rooms are converted from the cell's of the monks with a very good taste by keeping the simplicity of the monestry. The restaurant is also very special, you enjoy your dinner in the monk's dinnig room. The dishes are prepared by the... More

Our hosts Anna & Rico were very generous in sharing this Hideaway with us. We dined in the fancy restaurant and for most of the evening were by ourselves. A solo young person came later, and as we were done, some more people strolled in. The place caters to small corporate groups offering unforgettable experience - tranquility with all facilities... “This is a quiet monastery that allows people to recover and discover themselves. Not a tourist hot-spot. We dined in their fine restaurant, where service was excellent and food outstanding - honest to the core and no false pretence at all. We viewed the entire facility, including the different rooms available. Spartan, but comfortable.”
