We have juat visited this hotel with my family, 2 adults, 2 children; family room ! Okay, hotel, or at least the room we stayed is totaly retro, BUT, the food was great, superb, grandma style cooking, fresh, we had buffet dinner, not a single word of bad I can say, very friendly staaf; we even tried the lunch menu,... For the first time in my life believe that there are time machines. Soviet renaissance for adventurers. Lack of repair at least ten years, dirty clothes, torn furniture, doors are not closed, "handmade" dangerous electricity and bathroom. You could stay here just "under threat of death or severe punishment" :)

Definitely old communist type of room, old furniture, walls emanating an air of mushrooms, not joking. The bed is very bad. For breakfast we had sour dough langos, and a lot of fatty things. Was my first and last visit here. Bathroom is in a deplorable shape, don't expect anything to work logically.

PRO: The hotel is located next to a forest, can be a good startpoint for exploring the area (Fertő tó, Austria). Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. CONTRA: too retro, needs renovation, ugly bathroom, slow lift, wifi in the lobby (useless in the room), 2 small pools only.

This hotel is a trip back to the 1950's and 1960's days of communism. Our room was draughty and the bathroom small, lifts carry two people and two bags, and the bar was open only one night during our four night stay. Hotel is clean and away from the main city centre. Meals were adequate. Staff were courteous and pleasant... More

We spent here few days, and i think it is a very good value for your money. The location of the hotel is quite good and close to center of Sopron, just few stops by bus 1 and 2. In the middle of the Lővérek where there is clean air because is a forest, you have options do to do... More

The hotel is located 20 minutes from the center of town. The hotel is clean but needs to be renovated, especially bathrooms. But there are very convenient beds. Room also has refrigerator and a TV set. Poor wifi even in the lobby. Breakfast is served in buffet form.

The regular rooms are poor. The matrasses are extremely high, weird... Nowadays it's very noisy as well, because they're renovating the building. The food is tasty, but the selection could be wider. The wellness area is pretty small, I guess for more than 100 people wouldn't be enough. But for the price I did not expect so much better.

The building looks typical of the Socialist times of the 1960's. Renovations to make it acceptable for today are adequate. Don't expect a typical international 3star hotel, but it is very clean, adequately comfortable, plenty of facilities, good choice of nice food, peaceful, very helpful staff, all at which is at very reasonable price. The immediate surroundings are really lovely... More

The room that we got was too cramped, and too warm in July. We had to stack a chair on top of a table so we could move around. The bathroom stinks from the time we entered the room and had to leave the light on to keep the ventilator on. For the price you have to pay, you'd at... More
