This is an old style large hotel in a very good central location. This is the second time I have stayed here and both times the air conditioning unit in the room was next to useless. The rooms have the outer door which opens into the corridor and an internal fire door that opens into the room. I couldn't close...

I have had traveled with 3 children and 6 dogs, was very pleased with the hotel staff and the apartments that we stayed- very large and clean. I will recommend the hotel highly ! And will stay again! Perhaps , booking directly with the hotel's staff and choosing apartments was good choice.

Great location in the city center of Szeged, and Hotel is clean. But, unfortunately, all other characteristics are very poor - I never would like to stay there again. We made the reservation through an online booking page, and in a week, we were sent an email to make some reservation payment, the half of the total amount. Then at...

I've spent a night in an apartment room of this hotel. Nice furniture and bathroom, but loud AC, loud night club near the hotel, uncomfortable sofabed, old building with old windows. Not recommended. Altough the staff was really helpful.

Far from the rail station so took a taxi though a tram goes close. Old world feel to the hotel and everything clean and neat. Front desk fine and helpful, kept our bags after checkout. Room rather small with two beds, one on each side of the room and quite narrow. Looks like a deluxe hotel with nice furnishings but...

My sister and I visited Szeged when she came to Hungary to visit me. We booked a room through another site and not directly through the hotel. When we arrived, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The first thing they asked us was whether we were with the wedding party. When we said that we were not, they told...

The hotel is well located, the staff is friendly, but ... that's all. An old building with magnificent architecture is kept as an old communist era accommodation unit. The room had 2 small, uncomfortable beds joint to simulate a larger bed, but with different sets of blankets. I other room I noticed the beds separated for 2 different people. The...

Hotel Tisza has a bit of "worn" elegance, but still has an atmosphere. Room and shower are clean, staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious, fresh and well presented, AND included in the price! The air conditioning, but is a bit loud. My biggest disappointment however was the poor wifi connection in my room. In summary,...

We spent a night in Tisza Hotel and were partcipating in a wedding ceremony held in there. The hotel has a perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and dinner. Staff is extremely helpful and the hotels location is perfect. The room was air-conditioned, little bit oldish furniture, thats why not 5*. I recommend it for everybody.
