This hotel need to be refreshing Specialy the beds must be changed for comfortable furniture. That will make this place a nice hôtel to stay. The personal is really amiable The restaurant is good but it can be improved a little bit. I will go to stay in this place certainly.

Hotel looks good from the outside but the bedrooms are quite basic. Beds not so comfortable and decor quite dated. Hotel is on the corner of a busy street and directly above McDonalds so is quite noisy. Bathroom not fully clean and towels were thread bare. Breakfast was basic and very busy. Rooms were hot

The hotel is situated near to one of the main roads through town and has ample parking, although this may be tricky to spot from the road. The staff are very pleasant and polite and speak a good standard of English language. Food is typical Hungarian breakfast (cold meats and cheeses), with cereals and cake, however I have never been...

The one and only hotel in Zalaegerszeg , it means: monopoly The whole building is like a time travel, back to the 80s. Ancient decorations, furnitures everywhere. Our room was clean, but my sheet had a big hole, the shower cabin is so tiny, i cant tell you. The air condition isnt default, you need to pay extra .( 2016!!)...

We stayed one night on a business trip. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was clean, big enough to do some work. The room faced the free car park behind the hotel. Opening the window during the night didn't cause any disturbance. The hotel is pretty central. However, don't expect a nightlife hotspot.

But then: * bathroom was not clear enough when I enter first time * towel was dirty - seems that they forgot to change after previous customer, * however even clean towels was yellow because was that old, * sheets smelled not nice,...

We arrived at the train station around 2 pm. on a Saturday afternoon and we decided to walk to city center. It was again a little bit of a hike but the sightseeing was nice. The odd thing was that there was no one around; all the businesses were closed and as we got closer to city center we saw...

Arany Barany has a monopoly being the only "modern" hospital in the area if you intend on staying in Zalagerszeg. As others have said, the hotel is extremely basic. The staff speak fluent English and German which is a plus, but there is certainly much to be desired such as air conditioning, reasonable pricing, and modernization. For the same price...

The Arany Barany (Roughly translates into Golden Sheep) is a basic hotel that I have stayed in many times. The bonus is that it is in the central area of Zala but it hasn't got a lot of competition and is probably one of the better hotels in the city centre. The staff are friendly and accommodating but it really...
