I stayed here in 2008 and found the hotel very welcoming despite my non existent Slovakian. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast may not have been of the quantity provided by German hotels but is was vastly better than the pathetic efforts offered by many French hotels. The location was very good, being within easy walking...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights and I was seriously impressed with the location. We reached it from the train station by using the very good bus system, but transport isn't really needed in Bratislava, everything seems within walking distance. However, it took a very long time to find the hotel with no sign above the door! It...

Location great, rooms nice, great bar adjoining but i must say the breakfast I got and I paid for a "continental breakfast" was awful, basically was tea,2soft rolls and a piece of jam,to say I was unhappy is an understatement but aside from this all was ok.

I liked the excellent location of the Eshel David. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and big. The breakfast was a simple affair of croissants and cornflakes but absolutely fine. There was plenty of coffee and tea too. The only thing I could recommend is that they could do with a safe in the room or...

This is a beautiful little pension, handily close to the City centre. Rooms are cozy and peaceful.

Positives first - the location is very good and the overall level of cleanliness was also good. Everything else - Overall incredibly rude service. The younger generation working there do seem to care and make an effort to make you welcome but the older generation were downright rude. There was a misunderstanding with my booking which led the hotel to...

This place is a resteraunt and pension. Food is wonderful. Breakfast (included) was meats, cheese, bread and granola. You can also ask for eggs done the way you like them. Also ask for cappicino. Dinner (10% discount with room) was awesome. The parking is excellent, next to the pension in a secured lot. The rooms are an ok size with...

We only stayed for one night, so our experience was necessarily limited. The room was small but adequate, although the air conditioner was incredibly noisy. The location was great , being close to the lovely Old Town. However the trams on the road outside are extremely noisy. Overall our impression would have been positive but for the extraordinary attitude of the...

We only stayed one night in Bratislava, but we really enjoyed the city and the hotel. It is really easy to get there (hop on a bus from the train/bus station; it is only 3 stops down; the travel office at the train station will give you the right bus number). It is a superbly well located hotel, only a...

I was looking forward to Chez David, based on the reviews here but have to say I was somewhat disappointed. I have read many people write that they intend to use Bratislava as a base to explore Vienna from but I think I would do it the other way round. We paid €79 for a double room, using the rack...
