When visiting for a short period, the best solution is to book a place in the heart of the city center. Boutique Hotel Bristol is all you need for a short trip, don't expect luxury, but do expect extremely friendly and helpful staff, both at the reception and serving breakfast, very clean room and comfortable beds. You get bath robes in the rooms, but no slippers, and I do wish I did, but it wasn't an actual issue. We did not have problems with the noise, although the location of the hotel is right in the middle of the pedestrian area of the city center.
I would add that for a longer trip the breakfast options might get a little boring, because you can't get that much variety in a boutique hotel, but this wasn't a problem for our trip.
Other amenities: pleasant and boutique-like looking lounge area at the reception with nice plants and comfortable chairs, inner courtyard for parking (which is great for staying in the city center) and I must add that we all loved the less-waste type of cosmetics in the bathroom in big containers, not for one purpose use, but still sanitary (I must say that I will get from l'occitane the verbena hand soap, because the smell and feel of it was lovely). Important to know is that you have an elevator up to the 2nd floor, and then go by foot to the 3rd in case your room is located there.
We did not get the chance to use the Roman SPA, but next time we sure will.
When going back to Kosice, for sure this will be the place to stay for us!

This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The spa is small but perfect for what we wanted: two saunas and two pools. The staff are very helpful. The rooms have comfortable beds and good size televisions.
The location is so perfect as you are on the main street without the noise. Plenty of eating and drinking options nearby.

I do not recommend the Bristol Hotel in Kosice. The electrical outlets in my room were not well positioned and so to turn off the light I had to get out of bed. I found my bathroom not very clean on the second day. The radiators are kept off and it is up to me to turn them on by turning the knob and without knowing it I slept cold the first night. Every day the cleaner turns them off and then it is up to me to turn them on again by turning the knobs. On the internet I had seen that checkout was scheduled for 12:00 am, but at 10:30 am they called me in my room telling me that if I wanted to stay in the room until 12:00 am I would have to pay another 20 euros. I had to accept because I was not ready, I checked out at 11:20 am and I did not find this extra payment a very elegant gesture on their part. Finally, the breakfast is just decent, but nothing more. In Italy it would be classified as a 3 star.

Breakfast served in a very small (almost looked like a temporary) room, selection rather poor, the staff struggled to tell us what products are pasterised or not. One is forced to go sit in a lobby and eat breakfast there.
Rooms spacious but require some uplift, esp windows dont isolate sound from noisy streets well.
The ventilation in the smoking saloon didnt work, hence the lobby was full of smoky air, instead they should just shut down the smoking bar for a day or two and let smokers go smoke out - totally disrespectful to non-smoker part.
Definitely not a 4-star hotel to (West)European standards.
Price on the lower end though (should have been an indication to us of the quality), which at least reflects the true quality.

Myself and a couple of friends recently stayed a week at the Boutique Hotel Bristol and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself has everything a person needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and it's located in a very central part of Košice, close to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. As English speaking ladies from Ireland, it was wonderful to find out that the staff spoke excellent English, as we had no Slovak at all. They were also so welcoming and friendly, especially Peter at the bar and Michal at reception, it felt like a home away from home. If we ever visit Košice again in the future, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you guys for everything! 😊

Mixed feeling about this hotel who has a lot of advantages but stay below my expectations on other points.
On the positive side: very well located in the center of the city, but with a parking lot (which is very small and can be full). Room are confortable.
However, the small road is incredibly noisy, the windows of low quality let the noise come, I was woke up several times during the night because of people walking noisily in the street. Do not accept a room on the street side, only on the other side! Also the breakfast is average. Overall, to have tried other hotels in Kosice, you can find better quality for same price, or same quality at lower price.

Perfect location, almost at the central square, own parking place, spa and very nice and clean rooms. The train station is only 5 minutes walk. All the best restaurants are just a few steps away. I think the best place to stay in Kosice.

there is a train station and it is 10 min. walk through the park. But in the evening and with the luggage we recommend you to take a taxi. There si also an option to inform us about the date and the time of arrival and we will arrange a taxi for you.

Hi, hotel is in city centre. You have two options: rent a car directly on airport, or use taxi. Trip takes about 15 - 20 minutes depending on traffic. It is no public transport available from airport.
