We spent some wonderful days at Villa Ottilia! Unfortunately our stay was too short. At the moment of arriving we felt very welcome and immediately like home. The house is placed in a calm area and you can reach the centre of the town by foot in a few minutes. It is very cosy with its wooden furniture and well equipped. Whether you like nature and relaxation, or sports, or you are interested in history: there is a lot to do and to discover in Otepää and the area sourrounded. By car you can reach in just one day the whole south eastern and south western Estonia. The very friendly and helpful hosts Tiina and Kimmo can help you with lots of tips and maps! Also the offer a good breakfast with a rich buffet. We really enyojed our stay and we definitely want to come back soon! Barbara + Astrid from Germany

Dear Barbara and Astrid We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, even though the competition that you wanted to attend to was cancelled due to the weather conditions. We also hope that your next few days in Tallinn were also fulfilling and that your journey home went fine. We are definitely looking forward to welcoming you to Villa Ottilia at any time. Preferably sooner than later. Thank you also for sharing your ideas and experiences of Airbnb. It was very interesting to hear your comments about it. We very well might consider it as an option. As we told you, at the moment the bookings to Villa Ottilia come either directly (via our home page) or through booking.com. So Airbnb might be an option well worth considering. All the best to both of you Tiina and Kimmo

We traveled to Otepaa to watch some ski races and we were lucky to find this spot. It is just outside of town, but close to everything. This is a true bed and breakfast. It feels as if you are traveling to your uncle and aunts house. The hosts are very friendly and have lots of great suggestions on where to go and what to do. Unfortunately the weather was not very nice while we were there. The area must be beautiful in the summer and during a snowy winter!

Thank you for your kind review. We are always happy when our guests feel at home. Unfortunately we could not do much about the weather at the time of your visit. We can only assure you that the scenery is quite wonderful when there is plenty of snow and plenty of sun. Summer months are very nice, too. We hope to meet you again and wish your daughter every success in the ski races in the future. With our best regards Tiina and Kimmo Linkama

Very nice place to stay. Peaceful rooms and very good place especially for family. We stayed from Monday to Friday. The owners are hosting the place and they gave a lot of information about what to do and visit in Otepää and the surrounding areas. Despite of relatively warm weather, the skiing routes were in very good condition. Other activities like spa and dining (excellent food places) were all close to the place. Good breakfast. All together very positive experience.

A really unique bed and breakfast!!! I stayed here for Ironman 70.3 Otepäa and Tiina and Kimmi made me feel almost like at home. They had plenty of tipps what to see and do in the area - so i could have easily stayed one week longer :-) It is great to have hosts who care so much about their visitors. I will for sure come back again!!!

We travelled by car and stayed 3 nights at B&B Villa Ottilia. From our B&B we drove to see the nature and nearby towns like Tartu. For this, Otepää was a convenient place to stay. The skiing village is small and was very quiet indeed in May. We were the only visitors at Villa Ottilia at the time. The hosts, a Finnish couple who'd lived and travelled in Estonia for about 20 yrs, were friendly and very helpful, they took time to explain Estonian history and nature. They also entertained us with stories about their travels in and outside Estonia. At the time of our stay, they had one bike to hire and I was able to take a ride on the last evening although I hadn't booked in advance. The breakfast at Villa Ottilia was ok, our wifi worked and we had the bathroom and the fridge all to ourselves. This is your place if you're looking for a reasonable price, peace and quiet and nice hosts.

Dear Pia S, We thank you warmly for your kind review. We are happy to hear that you liked your stay with us. We hope that the rest of your journey was also enjoyable! We remember you telling us about the country fair of Kanepi that you accidentally visited and how you liked it. As we told you, there are two quite interesting country fairs in the future. The biggest fair is Hauka Laat (laat means fair) 13.-14-8-2016 and then there is the legendary Fish and Onion fair in Lüübnitsa on the 27.-28.8.2016. Perhaps we see you then again! Wishing you a great summer Tiina and Kimmo Linkama Villa Ottilia B&B, Otepää

Staying two nights during Jooksumaraton. Location silent and good while less than one kilometre away from bus station. Good tips and breakfast. They even bring my bag to finish. They even rent a bike for short excursion out of the city.

I'm very glad I stayed at this hotel. The hosts (Tiina and Kimmo) are very friendly and gave me lots of useful advises regarding my stay at Otepaa and coming visit to Helsinki. The hotel is very clean and cosy, placed on quite street. Distance to lake Puhajarve, were was competition held, is about 3 km. Perfect place for sportsmen and families.

After visiting Tallinn, we wanted to experience the Estonian country side. Otepa was recommended by locals so we decided to spend a couple of nights there before continuing on our Baltic trip. Villa Ottilia was the perfect place to enjoy nature and Estonian hospitality. Owners Tina and Kimmo made us feel like VIP's! After our booking, Kimmo sent detailed information on public transport options and offered to pick us up at the bus station. Once we arrived, they turned into a tourist bureau, providing hiking maps, suggestions for bird watching(our passion), and restaurants. They even offered a "wood stove sauna bath" in their own B&B. Our room was comfortable, clean and cool. Breakfast was generous: cereals, meats, cheese, yogurt, delicious Estonian bread, juice and coffee. We recommend Villa Otilia for its location, accommodations, and above all the fantastic hospitality of Tina and Kimmo.

I stayed in Villa Ottilia for 2 nights when I visited Otepaa in early July (returning for a nostalgic trip after 25 years!). I really enjoyed the place--excellent location on quite street surrounded by trees, rooms are very comfortable, cozy and clean decorated with wooden panels so common in Estonia, and the whole atmosphere is warm and inviting! Last but not least, Tiina and Kimmo--a Finnish couple who run the place - are very friendly and helpful and have lots of tips for local sightseeing. I would definitely stay there again when I visit Otepaa!!

We, my husband and me, had a really unforgettable visit in Villa Ottilia. We (Finns) were travelling with our motorbike in Estonia. We stayed 3 nights in Villa Ottilia. Every morning we got excellent tips, where to drive. Some days were rainy, but there were also sunny days. After a rainy day we could bring our wet clothes in a ward sauna, after taking a bath in that nice sauna :-) We really felt at home in Villa Ottilia, we slept like babies... Some day we will return to that nice place, to meet again that helpful and nice host couple!
