The ibis Tallinn Center is praised for its cleanliness and modern charm, with guests commending its well-maintained rooms and eco-friendly initiatives. Although the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and modernity, some guests find them on the smaller side and lacking certain amenities. The hotel's value proposition is strong, offering an affordable stay with a comfortable balance of quality, despite some mentions of additional costs. Its location is a hit for being within easy reach of Old Town and transport links, yet some travelers wish for closer dining options. The service at ibis Tallinn Center garners positive remarks for the staff's friendliness and helpfulness, with an occasional note on slower dinner service. The atmosphere is frequently lauded as cozy and inviting, contributing to a comfortable stay.

This is a more modern Ibis with comfy rooms and the usual kind of style where you know what you are going to get in advance.

The staff were helpful and friendly each day. It is a 15 minute walk into the centre and the hotel is in a convenient location with a small supermarket situated in the opposite direction.

We ate in the restaurant one evening and the burger was lovely!! Service was good too.

Thank you so much for my birthday gift top of cake, fruit and a bottle of beer!! So thoughtful and unexpected :)

Recommended and would stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at the Ibis Tallinn. Right from the start the staff were friendly and amazing, the beds were quite comfortable and the room (the whole property really) was very chic. I did find the AC didn’t quite get the room as cold as I would have liked but that’s an issue I often have at Ibis properties and it was still comfortable.

Charlie’s Corner, bar/restaurant downstairs offered up a surprisingly good burger and the buffet breakfast was diverse and filling. I was initially worried about the location being a bit out of town however it was a simple 20 minute stroll to anywhere in the old town as well as being only a €3 trip from the Airport and the Ferry with Bolt.

We stayed in half a dozen Accor properties in the Baltics and this was certainly the best!

Usually staying here, location, service, quality, cleanliness and breakfast is good. This time we didn't get the room that was reserved and pre-paid - it was supposed to be double pus extra bed but turned out double plus sofa. As were staying for 2 nights, it wasn't comfort expected for our daughter sleeping on sofa instead of a proper extra bed. The staff explained that the house was fully booked because of some basketball event and the cleaning staff not available to prepare another room at the hour we arrived. Free soft drink on the house was not enough to ease the pain

To be perfectly honest I don’t understand the idea behind naming Ibis hotels with the word “center”. That Ibis Center is literally two districts away from the city center; it may be not that far direct from Vanalinn Old Town if you had the ability to fly… however if you are using like we did public transport it is 7-9 bus stops or several tram station (7 min to nearest tram station) to the actual center! Public transport in Tallinn is one of the worst I have ever seen (and I have seen plenty) so be prepared for some troubles. You can take a Bolt or Uber but average waiting time during weekend was ca.25 min. Not sure about renting a car in Estonia. To sum up: it is NOT in center!
Now the hotel. It is a nice, small Ibis, very clean with a nice lobby. For me the big downside was the lack of a kettle in a room and no wardrobe. Rooms are very comfortable at first, but with hanging clothes on random hangers allover the room and 2 suitcases our room became unbearable. It is an “ok” hotel for 1 night, 4 nights we got bit tired of it.
You can make coffee or tea downstairs at the lobby, but coffee machines were constantly on cleaning program. Breakfast not really good, very poor selection of food. In general compared to other similr hotels this one wasn’t the best.
It was a pet friendly hotel, so a big + from me :)

Great breakfast and lunch ! I Love the room lighting & lighting options.
But the bathroom lighting is terrible! it's pointing directly down overhead to cast hundreds of hair shadows all over the face that people are attempting to shave or make up. Some diffused scones on the wall next to mirror (preferably both sides) would make a world of difference.
Also, I would also like to have at least 1 hand towel for the room. I don't like to use the same towel for drying my face after a shower, which had been used for hands multiple times by multiple people.

This is a pleasant enough hotel, a bit far out of the town centre, being at least a 30 minute walk. The staff are pleasant. The rooms are adequate, but not great. The bed is comfy, but the pillows are very hard and lumpy - we did ask for more. The bath towels, well, only towel, and bath mat, are very small and very thin. Unpleasant and get very wet very quickly.
The electrics are a bit of a joke. The only sockets are hanging vertically down, so items hang down to charge. The plugs fall out. Ridiculous. The socket to put the room card in also fell to pieces.
There is nowhere to put anything away, but also nothing to put your case on. This is very awkward.
I won’t use the Ibis brand again. It’s too non-functional.

Let’s start off by saying excellent. The hotel has a really nice atmosphere to it that you feel from the moment you walk through the entrance.

The staff at reception were polite and checked me in quickly and provided information about the hotel breakfast and the complimentary tea and coffee facilities (much needed with the weather).

Now onto the room, I had a room with its own sauna, when booking I was not sure if it was going to Be worth the extra money but after day one it definitely was. There was nothing nicer than getting back to the room after a day of exploring Tallinn than to relax in the sauna.

The breakfast in the hotel was good and the food was always fresh and hot.

The location of the hotel is also very good, it took me about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the old town but if you didn’t want to walk there is a bus stop right outside the front of the hotel.

I would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who is thinking of staying in Tallinn.

Great service! Special thanks to the Easter gisfts - such an attention to the permanent guest is praiseworthy.Good food! The only thing is that if you stay at the hotel and paid for the stay by credit card in advance, still the hotel restaurant refuses to bill for the food to the hotel room account in order to pay when making check out, the restaurant asks to pay at once when getting the food. So you need always have cash or credit card when ordering food or drinks (even if you stay at the hotel and hotel has your credit card details) - this is not convenient.

Rooms are somewhat on the small side (2 week stay) and lack a proper seat and table, there's a bench and a small round table. Unlike some other hotels there are plenty of power sockets in the room which is a must these days to charge all the electronics. Free coffee and tea is good. Even though Estonia opened up and relaxed the health measures the bar closed at 10pm sharp. The menu in the restaurant could do with a bigger variety. In all pleasant and fairly new hotel for a reasonable price.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. not far from Old Town. The rooms are good size and very clean. Fantastic breakfast-lots of choices, cold and hot buffet, coffee from machine and cold drinks. I would say that breakfast is well above 3 stars. I liked interior design in the restautrant, the shelves with books made me feel like at home. Staff refilling trays with food and cleaning tables very quickly, so there was never problem with finding table. Staff very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel.

You can control AC from the room, you can open the window. Restaurant is open for breakfast buffet, then works based on the menu for lunch and dinner.
