The building is great, but location opposite a huge disco/concert hall is a disaster. At least we were not too happy listening discobeat until 4 a.m. The news about Tallinn Old City tourist and noise problems seem to be true. It is such a pity

Dear Mr RicoSugame, Thank you for your honest feedback. We are, with our whole team, quite shocked for this baleful rating. Thick walls and double glazed windows usually keep any noise outside the building (as you can read from many previous reviews as well). I wonder, if one of the window sets was not properly closed. I also wander if you contacted reception staff with this issue - we usually check the windows first, but if guest prefer to change the room to the other side of building, we always do that. And in February there is no problem with availability of those quiet rooms, where you can even sleep with open windows and still enjoy the silence in the very heart of the city. I am deeply sorry for the bad night sleep you had - good sleep quality is our priority here. We even have a special "Good nigh sleep" guarantee available to prove that we take this seriously. However, I am happy you still mentioned that our hotel building is great. Thank you for this! We do hope you will give us and Tallinn second chance. Sincerely yours, Killu Maidla

My wife and I plus 4 friends stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over the last weekend in January. We all agreed that we made the right decision in staying here. The hotel is in an excellent location -just a few minutes walk from Town Hall Square , and all the old town sights.

Dear Susan, it's very easy to take a day trip to Helsinki, there are about 10 departures each day and trip takes about 2 hours. Terminals in Tallinn and Helsinki are very close to city center. You can buy tickets online or also at the terminal. We can assist with this in hotel as well! Welcome to Tallinn!

We paid 8 euros from the airport to our hotel in the Old Town, it’s only a 10 minute journey! We walked straight out of the terminal and got one from outside, only certain companies are allowed at the airport I believe, there is s big sign in the terminal showing the company names.

There is one about 7-10 minute walk from hotel per staff. Ask front desk and they will show you on map, but it's reportedly very busy with other guests. If possible, do laundry in hotel bathroom. We did, slightly inconvenient for set up but works.

Do you have car parking?
Dear Sir/Madam, Yes, we do have parking places available just behind the hotel, in closed court yard. Parking costs 20 eur per night and if possible, please book in advance since only limited places are available. Looking forward to welcoming you in Tallinn!

Dear Mrs Rachel C, thank you for this good question! Families with children are most welcome in our hotel. It's perfect in case you want to explore Tallinn by foot - if your little ones get tired, it's not far to return to hotel for a brake or nap. There's no special entertainment for kids in hotel, but plenty to do and discover nearby. Children (and their parents) are very welcome here! Killu Maidla, hotel manager

"We had room 305 which was a superior and quiet"
"I was on the 4th floor and faced the street. Although I was waned that there might be noise I did not hear anything."
"Top floor (5th) was perfectly quiet - didn't hear another guest throughout the entire stay!"
"If you are noise sensitive ask for a room that faces the interior courtyard."
"If staying Thursday through Sunday, ask for a room off the street unless you're in Tallinn to party."
