A very nice and cosy hotel close to the old town. As a minus the bar/restaurant is closed without any notice anywhere. They sell refreshments in the reception but do not have any glasses. Been here quite a few times and like to give 4 stars but not this time.
It is always pleasure to return to this hotel, with great location, very nice and helpful receptionists, breakfast is good ( eggs, fish, fruits, cakes, pancakes, porridge ) Hotel is close to the old town and very nice siting area the sea :)
A short walk from passenger terminal A, Old town and with tram stops close by, the location of the hotel was very central and easy to access. The facade has been preserved, and the hotel itself is built within the former factory. The hotel itself is modern, and common areas are tidy. The room was clean, but showed some wear and tear, and sadly the air conditioner managed only to produce noise - an issue I informed the reception on my first day but which was never corrected and didn't hear about since. The window opened to hallway and not outside, the room was constantly a bit too warm and humid. The bed was comfortable though, and the room was otherwise very quiet.
This hotel is absolutely 10/10 if you’re looking for a peaceful, cosy hotel to staying near the old town. It takes only 2 minute to walk to the Paks Margareeta (edge of the old town). Very clean room, equipment is standard. What a great bonus - bathrobe at the hotel room. Personal is extremely friendly! Breakfast is continental, everything was fresh. Absolutely amazing black coffee! My ferry’s departure was at the evening time but I could kept my luggage after the check-out time. By arriving I asked a quiet room and I got one. Slept very well. Booking was made via booking.com. They hade a great deal for two nights staying. Thanks guys for making my staying so comfortable!
In a nutshell - I wasted around 30 minutes driving in circles and it was just impossible to find the hotel. I tried google and GPS in my car - no lack. Google will show you that you’re somewhere close but you won’t get there. I called them to ask about their location and the receptionist didn’t help either. I canceled the reservation as I obviously couldn’t get to the place and they charged me for the stay. Beware. Maybe you’ll be luckier but it’s really easier to find another hotel that’s easy to find
The hotel has an excellent location. The lobby is very nice and rooms are ok - nothing special, but a nice and firm bed. The breakfast had some good basics: bread and toppings, nice porridge too. Cakes were tasteless. The worst was the salmon, which by the looks of it was way past its sell by date. For this I will surely not come back.
Perfectly positioned for the old town, comfortable, fast internet. Breakfast was a bit limited and hot food was often cold, my only complaint. Would stay here again and given the price it was affordable compared to other hotels.
The Ilmarine Hotel has all you need, the location is brilliant for getting to the Old Town, the City centre and the port. The rooms are clean and well equipped, breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff are more than helpful. We would stay here again.
Located in Kalamaja. Very nice area. Telliskivi, Noblessner and Old City all within walking distance. Good connection to public transport as trams 1 and 2 go nearby. No night club which means that the hotel is pretty quiet. There is a Casino and a supermarket very close. Breakfast buffet is ok. If you arrive at lunch time, give the restaurant a try. We did. Marvellous Osso Bucco @ 5,40€. Credit cards accepted. Shall go again.
Love the Mediterranean style and the layout of the hotel. Great choice for travelers who love to have morning walk. It is very near to Museum, habour and Tallinn’s Old Town The room was clean and cool! Need to request kettle from the reception. Wifi connection was good Wish I could stay for a couple of more days…..
